At any high school dance nowadays, you're gonna find people up in the middle of the massive heap of people grinding on each other. it's unavoidable, regardless of the rules. turn of the lights, and it gets even worse. i personally don't think it's an act that's deserving of damnation or, in the least, trouble with the school holding the dance. this is as long as it doesn't go too far. actually, as long as people are gonna dance like that, it's hypothetically worse if they dance face to face.
Grinding, freak dancing: inappropriate or cultural reality that just happens and won't necessarily lead to irresponsible sexual behavior?
There's a difference between saying what you think and trying to sound better than everyone else.

Has anyone else read the "article" on the front page about homecoming being ruined? And does anyone else notice how everyone defending it (minus one person) is 16 or under?

Anyone else notice that it's always teenagers trying to defend this kind of inappropriate behavior (I believe most, not all, teenagers are really stupid, by the way)? At my high school, they'd try to defend freak dancing, drunk driving, hard drug use, binge drinking, texting on their cell phones while driving. It goes on and on. And it shows that obviously, you don't know what is best for you.
Yes, grinding your genitals on someone can lead to sexual behavior. Grinding isn't always going to be "controlled", and admitting that you're trying to look hot, speaks volumes.

No, they don't have to watch it. Even if they 1.choose to go to a dance that does have grinding 2.despite the fact that they know its going to be there and 3.despite they are "grossed out" by it.
actually our school gave up trying to stop it. but it doesnt alwayis lead to sexual activities. as long as its a controlled grind or freak dance, its all good. plus its more fun to dance that way cuz then those of us who cant dance all that well can just shake our hips and still look hot. lol.

I agree. I mean grinding isnt the most apealing thing but theres reasons behind it. There are people that do it just to dance but there are a large amount that are doing it to turn each other on.
I do not think grinding leads to sexual behavior, I do think though that it is a way for people to get their emotions out so they don't have sex later.
I'm the kind of person who dances with a group of friends, but they're shy and it takes me a while to coax them into it, we usually have fun though. I personally think grinding is disgusting to look at or forced to look at.
