What would you do if your were fifteen, on probation, been in and out of the nile (juvi and de) for the past year. On top of it all you think your pregnant with some twenty-one year old druggy’s kid, and he disappeared two weeks ago and is nowhere to be found. Drugs are your escape from the pain of no one there to talk to and you hate your life. Everyday you wake up hoping and praying to die. Well actually pray is a strong word because you’ve lost all your faith and you have no intentions on trying to redeem it. Alcohol is a front. Both alcohol and drugs are both slow killers. Cigarettes are your stress relief’s. What would you do if your son was at home crying all alone on the bedroom floor because he’s hungry, and his daddy’s gone somewhere smoking rock. What advice would you give to someone in that situation. Could you even begin to think about how she feels. Would you switch places with her if you could. What if it would save her life. How would you tell her that she made the wrong decisions. Would you help her if you saw her on the street. Would you tell her that she could stay with you just to have a warm meal a hot shower. You probably wouldn’t because in AMERICA this is normal. In this free country we live in is full of judgment. How could you judge someone in a situation that has nothing to do with you. Or are you the type of person that would be known as a statistic in this country I’m talking about someone who doesn’t judge because of what they see on some one’s face, or how they walk down the street, or even who they talk to. You are not perfect and you don’t know how they feel what they are going through and you could never believe what those people are thinking about you. Most teens just want one person to talk to, you the person full of judgment you especially would never guess that you and that one who has a child has in common.

How would you tell that person to confront their parents for help. What if they had a trust issue and couldn’t go to anyone. What could you do. Most would just walk away from the situation, but don’t worry they won’t mind because they are used to being left alone. We are used to being rejected. But what you don’t understand is we feel the same way you do about school and friends and hell even life in general. NOONE has no issues. So why is America so judgmental. It hurts that people can be so cruel.

Would it change your mind to know that the person lost both Mother and Father at an early age. Her mom to a heart attack and her father to a drug deal gone wrong and he got run off the road by the people that are supposed to be protecting him. YEP THE COPS. How would that change your mind, or would it. How do you know that she wasn’t raped at eleven and smacked around by her boyfriend at fourteen. How do you know that she wasn’t forced to snort that huff this. What if when she was nine she lived in the projects with her foster mom. She had a gun to her head and a knife to her throat. How do you know her story how do you know what she’s been through. How do you know that she doesn’t think that the drugs sex alcohol wasn’t the only way out. Some people say that these types of people have no place in this world and they should just die. But what if I told you this girl has tried to kill herself on many different occasions with pills suffocation , and the ever popular razor. But none of them worked how do you still tell a person that they should die. If you are a god fearing person then wouldn’t you say that she belongs here for some reason if she has attempted so many times and he never let her go. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

So what would you do? Would you still push her away? What if she wants to change her ways so her child won’t go through the same things she did. How could you help her? Would you even care?
