Ever since I was little I have been a serious nailbiter, I'm not sure why I do it but I can't stop no matter what I try! So, my question is do you have any bad or nervous habits you'd like to get rid of or no one understands? Anything that actually interrupts your daily activities?

I know it sounds funny but I used to bite my nails all the time! Now I grow them out. I stopped biting them because I saw somewhere that sitting on your hands or keeping your hands busy controls it. It really worked. I don't know why though. The only reason I bite my nails now is because I don't feel like getting a nail clippers when I need it.

I'm so bad about that. And I don't even just bite my nails; I bite the skin around it, as well. It's disgusting, I know.

there was a guy in my math class that bit his nails all day everyday. I wanted to get him some damn mittens to get those hands away from his face.

I've actually tried that and it worked for about a week but then I just couldn't take and I chomped them off! Jalapeno flavored nailpolish didn't even phase me, sure my tastebuds and tongue were in remission for a little while but I just couldn't not bite em! Another weird habit or I guess it's more of a routine is that when ever I put my shoes on, I put the left on first but tie it second and I only answer the phone after the third ring! Yep, it's a weird day with me but, I survive!

I have this tendency to twist my class ring around my finger and pull it part way off whenever I'm nervous or dreading something. I also have a habit of thinking so hard I stand up for no real reason, walk into another room, and stop because I have no clue why I just did that. That can be disruptive at times, so luckily I only do it at home.

no habits...well, I twirl my hair a lot but it doesn't bother me or get in the way. No annoying or bad habits or habits that interfere though...I'm quite happy with that.

I bite my nails and the skin with it on my fingers. Ever since I was little, never could quit it. I acctually didn't bite my nails and they grew really nice but I like nibbled on them, not bit them off, but like three days later I couldn't take it I just bit them and ate them like I always do, the skin is a different story.

I bite my nails too. I've found that if you keep them nicely manicured (ya know, file the ridges, keep 'em smooth and shiny) you're less likely to bite them...otherwise, if you've got the money, you can invest in getting your nails professionally done...and keep them maintained--can't really bite them off.
