I have known alot of guys who go on dates with certain girls because they think that it'll be easy to get in bed with them. Alot of girls that go with these guys don't want to have sex with them but they do because they are so there to please whoever and in return they have like no self-esteem. Then again these guys are trying to be all cool then forcing these girls to have sex with them. Of course date rape is wrong, but is there anyway to stop it?

Date Rape is disgusting. I don't think it will stop, but don't go w/ some guy alone... my friend was rapped, & the guy tried 2 rape me but I got away, I also have been sexualy harrased & it's horrible, the guy lied & I got in trouble. Those guys who do that to girls are disgusting & should go to prision 4 life. & Kylie622 I'm so sorry!

i found out a while back that a friend of mine's sister was rapped. as terrible as that sounds what i find even more sickening is that he was forced to watch his sister being rapped. i think that is just sick. the guy is realy funny and cool (tho he got kicked out of school for pot possesion). he has had such a hard life for reasons both inside and out of his control... i feel so bad for him. ppl need to always remember how many ppl rapes affect, in the family and community.

I was raped and it was awful. In court, I almost didn't win my case b/c the guy who raped me lied and said that I went along with it.

Is it really date rape if the girl goes along with it? I mean, if she says no at the beginning or just says stop, I know it is. But what if she's so pathetic that she would just let him do it without saying it? I think that is just sad.

Of course there never will be a solution to stop date rape. I, like you, think its awful. And how you described it, is how it is in these days. Insecure girls...and a guy trying to be macho. It's so pathetic that someone would want to take advantage of another like that. All I can say for reducing the rape statistics, is that the police and law enforcers better get up off their butt and set up better consequences and protection of those vulnerable.
