Hi guys, I'm new here and decided to GRACE you with my presence...jk.

I think that the Mormon belief structure, as any belief structure, has been horribly mutilated by time and the affect it has on people's beliefs/outlooks.
I say it is what it is NOW and leave it at that.
Sure, alot of Mormons do belive in the topics discussed, but really, people, that's kinda like steriotyping that ALL Mormons believe these things. You can't base beliefs on one opinion or one book...
Besides, I learned that it's not about who's right and who's wrong, it's about interpretation of the texts.

If I'm notmaking sense, tell me so I can clarify...OH, and you'll have to excuse my grammar...it's my worst enemy.

Mormons completely changed their belief system. Prodestants didnt agree with the Catholic church they didnt change the bible. Christains revised the bible from old english (thy, thee and so on) to new english (you). They never changed the content. Before you open your mouth you might want to consider the facts. Ever Heard of Martin Luther (not King) The guy that came up with 99 points? The guy that started the Lutheran Church? Ring a Holy bell for ya? Catholics took the bible and added a bunch of rules and yes they havent changed it, good for them. What was your point?

They don't have there own Bible. The DO follow the Christian Bible. The Book of Mormon is an added testament. They follow both the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

They have, however, ruined many documents. I forget the name of the letter, but the LDS church had one of the best handwriting experts in the country come to confirm that certain documents were actually written by Joseph Smith. The man said that one of them surely wasn't, so the LDS organization basically ruined his career. He then went on to bomb a bunch of men high in the LDS church, but that's not my point.

Its called a translation. And the NKJV is 96% accurate with the Dead sea scrools, the only inaccurate things are English language usage and grammar. The other good translations (NIV, NLT, The Message, etc.) are just as accurate. The ones who edited it are the wrong ones.

Pucket, they are Christian. They profess belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ, and they believe He is the messiah.

The added testament (The Book of Mormon) is terribly wrong, and the LDS organization is absolutely horrible, but I don't think they're going to Hell.

Satan didn't trick the mormons, a dumb*** by the name of Joseph Smith preached his beliefs to a bunch of even dumber people and that's how mormonism was born. Then Brigham Young came along and made things worse. It wasn't Satan at all, it was human deceit.
