Mmm. There's nothing better than some good, old fashioned marijuana brownies after a arduous day of sitting on one's åss.
Sarcasm implied.

quote: yes it should be legal. how is killing somebody after a night of no sleep any different.
Alot of people with a brain would pull over somewhere to take a nap. Just like if you're drunk and you have no way of getting home, there are buses, friends or family who can drive you home, taxis, etc. There are so many ways to avoid getting hurt or hurting other people when you're drunk or when you're too tired, but people are just too stupid to take those precautions. I say let them kill themselves. Stupid people need to die.

All I'm sayin rice guy is that if 100 people smoked weed or drank and 4 of them were not responsible should everyone else who was responsible be punished and have their right to smoke or drink taken away as well? Oh and I also learned that hear in America it is legal to smoke weed if your a Rasta and you do it in a state park because government cant interfear with religion.

My geography teacher told us one day that in Greenland or some country up there, it is legal to smoke marijuana, and like not a lot of people use it. Like less than the number of people that use it illegally here. If it was legal here, I don't think that it would be as... "exclusive". Like...if someone said that you could never eat a peanut again, you would like start craving a peanut and then you would think about it and you would want it so bad and then some how someone would tell you that they could give you a peanut for $10 and you would have one and you would want another and another until you have spent all of your money on illegal peanuts and you can't pay your bills and you would get hauled off to a rehab center for peanut addicts!!!!!!!!...Ok sorry that was a dramatization but I think that it might be something like that? Lol. Unless...you are like...allergic to peanuts...then I guess you wouldn't...you know...care...uh...yeah...

Small percentage? Seventeen thousand-17,000- deaths per year!!! Who cares how small a percentage it is? Look at the numbers! And even if it was a small percentage, which you don't have proof for, it still shouldn't happen. Look at the numbers, look at the deaths!

Because people should be getting sleep before they go out and drive. There are few symptoms anyway, police would tell you to get some sleep if they saw you swerving or doing something similar to drunk driving and weren't able to give you a ticket or something. And how often does that happen, anyway? How often does drunk driving occur?

Ya, that makes sense. Having the right to go out and have a few drinks, then have a drive back home and have an accident under the influence. Yes, this should definitely be legal. I mean, there's nothing wrong with killing innocent people, is there?

Why would you hate SADD and/or MADD? You seem to have some serious issues. I suggest you talk to a psychologist or something; you seem to have an underlying childhood frustration (ie, beaten, too controlled, etc.)

Never said I would ever try alcohol. In fact, I am in my school's SADD group - now KA Students Against Destructive Decisions, which includes many things. I haven't seen any posts about the alcohol issue though. Pot is different, though, because so many people think it is A-okay, even though it isn't. Not to mention what a hot topic it's becoming.

Bauhaus, the article may have been titled that, but you obviously did not read the entire thing.
Quoted from the article:
"We are not saying cannabis is harmless, we are saying the evidence is inconclusive," Macleod told Reuters Health.
Then...
"there is reason to believe that cannabis can cause psychological and social harm to young people even if the causal association is not proven yet," he told Reuters Health. "Cannabis use may also cause physical harms including respiratory problems and cancer."
So you still think pot is not harmful to those people? In the article, it even says cannibas is not DIRECTLY related to psychological and social issues, but DOES has an association with its users. One doctor said that there could be several reasons for it. Marijuana is STILL something I would not try.

Marijuana is bad for your health. If you want to risk your health and being arrested, fine. Your life.
God made weed after all.
