The First Council of Nicea composed the modern Bible out of a multitude of various gospels and epistles, but they only chose the ones that fulfilled the Nicene Creed, that is, showed Jesus in a divine or semi-divine light.

Fact is, Jesus wasn't either. He was a plain human like the rest of us. He was born like a human, he lived like a human, and he died like a human. Healing powers? Heck, there are Buddhist priests who can do the same thing. Try reading about the different perspectives here.

Risk did point out something that is very true. you said that the bible, which is what your faith is based on, is not actually factual, but "the closest anyone can get" meaning that even it's origins may be incorrect.
