My immediate thought was sarcasm. I'm sticking to it. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

Be who you are inside. Don't change yourself just for a religion, and if you can't tell, I am an athiest. But I still don't think that you should change yourself just because of your religion. If you ask my opionion, that would be pretty stupid, and if that was a joke, it isn't funny.

I take offense to that, YW. I'm going to pray for you because of your ignorance. GQ is one of the best YNers here, a lot better than you'll ever be.

i think that its completely okay to be homosexual and a christian. God still loves you doesn't he? if he made you homosexual, why change? God's going to love you no matter what you do. or do you think that God is going to smite you and hate you for liking your same sex? because in that case, he's not much of a God at all, now is he? if its a joke, its a really bad one.

How does no one else see the sarcasm??? Oh well...if it's not really sarcasm then don't un-gay yourself for Christianity, GQTM. The Bible does not condemn homosexuality as much as some like to think/assume. So you can be a Christian and homosexual and not un-gay yourself.

That didn't sound like sarcasm.

And offensive.
There are homosexual Christians, you know, GQTM, and Christians like myself who support homosexuality.
If you don't want people to stereotype homosexuals it would be nice if you wouldn't stereotype Christians.
Ohhh, really? I didn't think it was sarcasm because it was pretty convincing. I agree with Worth, if that was sarcasm -- a joke -- it was in pretty bad taste. You can't be against Bible-thumping conservative-Christian/religious groups and stoop to their level in jest. ::Shrugs.::

I don't get it. So you're...you're going to un-gay yourself? Or keep true to your faith and still be gay? I'm confused.
