Oh, right, I just looked at the other posts and I guess you're not too bad yet… But I was serious. You can't let this get out of control, you will just end up damaging yourself. And I still recommend that book because my mum had (relatively mild) eating disorders in her teens and early twenties, and reading it really helped her and made her aware of what she was doing.

You should go into counselling. I think you are anorexic. And having seen the effects of anorexia, I don't think you want to go down that route.

Will you ever be thin enough to satisfy yourself? And will being thin ever help you to achieve your hopes and dreams?

Carrying on like this will just make you feel more and more miserable and inadequate. It's hard but you have to admit you have a problem and seek help.

Go to counselling. Please. Also, there's a really good book called 'Fat is a Feminist Issue' which it might be helpful for you to read.

I know this might be a little late. Maybe very late but yea I remember you Nicoley.

I went to that site you gave out on one of your posts and I signed the guest book an couple of times. Well, about ten times, sorry. I kept remembering things I had to say. Big Grin

Okay so your 86 pounds and your 5,1? Okay, I told you that I was going to the doctor for you and I did.

So I ask "if it's okay that a girl which is 13 years old could weight 86 pounds and her height is 5,1,?"

She said, "it's a little underweight and I think she needs to gain about 5 more pounds, go at least up to 90 to 91 pounds"

See doctors really help with these kinds of things. You could ask a simple nurse for help too.

I think it would have been better if you went to the doctor on your own. She had to see you and she was just picturing which is hard.

Have you been to the doctor?

You weight 86 pounds, I weight that much and I'm 15 so you know how hard that is? However, your taller than me and I have an excuse for weighting so little. You don't have an excuse, you just think your fat and your not. Actually my weight is not under or over, it's just right. Your weight is for certain, under.

just because a girl has love handles, it doesnt mean they are fat. guys like girls with a flat stomach...not a concave one

when some people said "dont exercise too much", its not really true.

Its good to have a little fat on you...boys like something to hold on to. example:love handles. Wink

dark chocolate is good for you, it keeps your heart healthy

well now i actually understand what everyone means, because it's extremlly hard to starve yourself then dance and run for hours, I tried it for about a week, last week, and i lost a few pounds, and i couldn't get myself active or anything, i was really lazy, and everywhere i went i was expecting to faint in any second. well, i guess since im down to about 86 pounds now, im still a little bit underweight, so i guess now im gonna try to gain it all back.

Also, you need to eat meat for protein and really most people that eat meat are healthier and have more energy than vegetarians because they essential vitamins and nutrients. Another thing, you should splurge on a piece of chocolate once in a while. All doctors tell you not to completely give up sweets; just eat them sparingly. So, you must eat calories to burn calories, so just eat and then exercise 3 times a week. I hope I helped. God Bless You.

105 lbs at the absolute lowest( and you have to have extremely small bone structure and most people do not) to like 130 or something lbs if you have large bone structure. You don't need to be 105 lbs. Build muscle, eat, and exercise if you want to stay fit, but don't just stop eating or cut your calories down really low. You have no energy and you feel extremely tired. I know: I've dont it. I'm 5'2" and I got to 99 lbs. I wasn't in good shape either.

Questions: Do you still think your fat?
How do you exactly know you are overweight? Do you not eat meat and chocolate because you don't want to or you think it will make you gain more weight?

Okay, I don't know how you could run a mile on the treadmill. I will probably die after five minutes because I have asthma and dancing, the best I could do is lay on the floor and move my arms.

By to the subject.

I think you should go to your local doctor and ask him/her if you need to lose more weight. Maybe get a girl doctor will be better. That might make you feel more comfortable. If she says that you need to lose weight (Which I doubt that but just in case), ask her, how much do you need to lose and tell her what you are doing now and see if that is a healthy and safe way to lose weight. If it's not then do what she tells you to do.

If what she tells you to do doesn't work. Don't freak out and start doing something else. Go back to your doctor and tell her that it isn't working. Doctors always have other ideas, I should know.

Believe me, doctors really help.

If she says that you don't have to lose anymore weight then you have to listen to her because she might know what is best for you and you might be putting yourself in danger without knowing it if you don't listen to her.

If she says that you don't need to lose weight and you don't listen to her and you keep trying to lose weight and doing the things that you did before then I think you should tell someone about this. Not exactly your mom because she might send you to a psychiatrist and that might not be the best thing for you. However, someone that is maybe older than you and a girl who could help you when you get this sudden feeling that your huge and that really understands you.

However, you said it's under control and it's no big deal so I will believe you. I know your responsible and I'm trusting you on this.

Okay, if she tells you that you don't need to lose weight but you want to have your current weight then ask her how you could keep this weight. Also, remember your not going to keep your current weight forever, you need to grow. You can't stay a tiny midget like me forever and it's not good, believe me.

Okay if you really don't want to eat meat because you just don't like it and it's not because you want to lose more weight, then I think you still should go to your doctor and ask her what good vegetarian food you could eat. You could do some research yourself but maybe it's better if you do this with a doctor.

You don't like chocolate or are you just not eating because you want to lose weight. Studies show Chocolate is good for you, well I think it is, maybe it was caffeine. I don't know. Something is good for you, I just wasn't listening.

Lastly do I know any good leg exercises? Um, nope, sorry. I know there's one that you sit on a chair and bent you legs back and forth but I don't know if that makes them stronger or skinnier. Also there's that one that you stand up and you bent down and up, down and up. Kicking could help too.

Okay, how many pounds are you and what is your height? If you don't go to the doctor, then I will for you. I think it will work but it better if you do it.

However, it's all up to you.

The way I see it is, you don't need to diet. You need Meat. And every girl needs chocalte now and then. Exceriseing is healthy just don't overdue it. Just watch what you eat. Eat smaller portions of your food. But don't stop eating, or your mother is right you will end up in the hospital. Anyways, if someone wouldn't want to be your friend because of the way you look they are worth the time.

listen, it's not safe to be underweight. and it's never attractive to have your ribcage show through your skin because you haven't eaten in a month.

Well when was 15 pound underweight I was never in the hospital or anything so it cant be that big of a deal.

I think you got a lot of oppinions already but here is mine also if you need it.

Eating is very important, it is what keeps our bodies going. We need food to live healthy happy lives. Working out is also very important, there is nothing wrong with working out. One thing to keep in mind however is that if you work out a lot your body needs more food to keep up with the demand you are asking from it.
What it comes down to is if you are hungry, eat. The reason that many Americans are overweight is because they eat when they are not hungry and eat huge amounts of food when they are. Just eat a good 3 meals a day and some snacks if you are working out. Also make sure to drink a lot of water.
Droping foods like chocolate from your diet entirely isnt a bad thing but not really necessary to remain skinny. You cant eat it all the time though, so moderate things like chips, pop, and candy.
15 pounds over or under weight isnt a big deal either.

Well to answer all your qestions, ok --

I'm not telling my mom because if I tell her anything about my weight I'll be in the docters office the next minute explaining to her why I want to be skinny, believe me shes done it before.

And I kno theres nothing 'glamourous' about eating disorders, but I don' want to end up fat. Because I think u get a lot more attention when ur skinny, well at least i do.

And it is incredibally hard to live with out chocolate, it's very adicting.

And finally, My mom wouldn't let me become a vegetarian, because allthough it's probbly really healthy, she says no one in our family is, so I wouldn't know how to eat the right nutrician and stuff.

o, and my mom suspects i now starve myself.

Well, thats just an update on my life, and i have a question-- were u suggesting Phycyatrist help, or just like my parents, because I fear Phycyatrists, I dont kno what its like to have one.
