PS. She should have used protection. Maybe she did. Hopefully she knew what she was getting herself into and I think she did. Hopefully her boyfriend and her family are behind her on this then I think she will be okay.

I'm glad she's taking a semester off to spend time with her child. Yes, she should have used protection (though I'm for abstinence) but you can also get pregnant when using protection. Condoms can break, the pill won't work, etc.

There's no point in saying, "she should have <insert command here>," because she's pregnant now, and that's what you should focus on.
