AIDS (Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is a collection of symptoms and infections resulting from the specific damage to the immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in humans.
It is one of the leading fatal diseases that have eradicated almost 25 billions of the world population since it was first recognized in year 1981. Although there are treatments for HIV virus progression, however, there is currently no known cure or vaccine for HIV or AIDS. The only known methods of prevention are based on avoiding exposure to the virus.
The HIV virus is spread through high-risk behaviors including unprotected oral, vaginal, or anal sexual intercourse and sharing of needles, such as needles used to inject drugs, like steroids and those used for tattooing.
Yet, the question is should there be a cure for AIDS? Do you think it is worth to have a vaccine for AIDS? Wouldn’t it encourages more of sexual relationships between multiple partners like the practice of one night stands, as there will be no longer any risk of having HIV virus? Wouldn’t the number of rape and abortion cases increase as prevention measures like the usage of condoms and IUDs would not need to be taken that seriously? Besides, it might persuade more of the teenagers to involve in drugs and needle sharing.
However, there are some guiltless people who die innocently just because they have contracted HIV virus. So, it really puzzles me whether is it appropriate to have a cure for AIDS. So, ladies and guys, I really would like to hear your opinions about this matter.

It is also spread from mother to child through birth, through breastfeeding, and from person to person through any method where a person comes into contact with contaminated blood that gets into their body through things such as open wounds.

really? given there's only 6 billion of us total...
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done"."
