Um,
I don't like girls in that way but if I were a guy or a girl (Which I am) that like other girls I would look for a smile first, then personality and then with her wonderful personality she will win me over like nothing.

But, I am too shy so I probably would just share at her like some fool and hope she talks to me.

I agree with that, but then wouldn't body count as the answer? I know what you are saying though, it's much more then that. Either way this is what catches my attention more often then not.

Then the eyes / face / hair, how she dresses. You can tell alot about how people dress no matter what anyone says.

And to seal the deal, do we have compatable personalities.

However I have met girls who based upon personality alone made me fall for them. Sort of like you have a friend and then one day you find yourself looking at them in a whole new way...but what I said above is most likely how I would meet a stranger.

Her ring finger! Then her body language around myself, after that it is usually her personality then the physical aspect.

height (from a distance). face. eyes. smile. figure. friends . laugh. sense of humor. intelligence. opinions (or lack thereof). body language. and whether her boyfriend is around.

usually in that order.

Their demeanor is the first thing I make note of, so I guess that would be a combination of eyes and smile.
