I'd support lowering the drinking age if the driving age was raised. Think about it: if kids could start drinking at 16 but couldn't drive until they were 20, they'd have four years to get all the drinking out of that way. By the time they can drive, the novelty of it will have worn off and they'll be less likely to drive while drunk.

The drinking age used to be 18, but was raised to 21 for a damn good reason. It's going to stay that way too, so people need to get over it.
