Nudity should occur where appropriate to the plot of a film. Nudity for its own sake isn't the point, but neither should it be censored.

___I think there should be a movie(or a short) made with everyone completely nude all the way through where the characters pretend that they don't notice in order to make a statment which mocks the childish ways our society reacts to nudity in reality.

___It would be like going to a nudist colony without having to go anywhere(laziness), or to get nude themselves(embarassment)... thereby killing two birds with one stone.

Fairness or not... it is true, they need to show more guys *nod nod*. But for furture refrence, 28 Days Later does have some.... male nudity, and the man they show does have potential.

I guess it is sort of a question of fairness. It really depends on your view of the movie makers. I suppose you could if you wanted to have women's <ahem> vaginas, showing, too. Personally, I would much rather stick to animated cartoons like Bambi or Fern Gully. What's wrong with slapstick comedy? Who really wants to see any nudity? (Besides a sexed up freak. I think there should be less female nudity. Y? B/c they show naked women so much in the past that people are use to seeing it. LIke a everyday thing. HTey like "oh that just t i t y s and a v i g i n a , no big deal." But when it comes to the male body parts there like "oh god a p e n i s how immoral and disgusting. I think if women weren't so willing to flant there **** in front of the big screen and men writers would consider not to have the shower scene in the movie that served no purpose what so ever. Then maybe there would be less nudity. I think if you going to show women all the time show some men to besides there butts.

To be honest i dont think its Male vrs Female issue,if you want to see nudity rent a porno,or if you want to see the human body as art,buy a tastefull photography book,showing a female body doesant degrade women in any way because a few women getting naked doesant mean that all women are sex objects.If there were more male nudity in mainstream films then female nudity that wouldant degrade men,and i dont get men that have a problem with seeing naked guys on screen.Can anyone explain why they dont like to see nudity on screen.

i dont have a problem with nudity as long as it isnt like really disgusting. my favorite actor is ewan mcgreggor and hes been nude in like a dozen movies. as long as the nudity is part of the story i dont mind

No, its a reflection on the fact that most producers, directors and studio heads are men. I think women want to see more **** in movies! I think its guys that don't want to see it.

On one hand, it might be more fair for there to be nudity of both sexes equally (equal exploitation ). On the other hand, even as a straight woman, I DO NOT like to look at naked men, especially their privates! It just looks weird to me. Also, I have a feeling that the movie producers will say, "They want equal nudity? Lets give 'em what they want!", and we'll be seeing some of the ugliest male actors nude onscreen! I think that the males in the movie industry have little clue what women find attractive in men... there are really so few actors I find cute nowadays...

In my opinion,for the woman to show so much so commonly in every movie that supresses a sexual scene, and then the men, who we know are all gorgeouse ^.-, only showing their upperhalfs, is disrespectable to woman. NOT ONLY IS THIS VIOLATING THEM, BUT IT IS STRESSING THE FACT THAT TODAYS GENERATIONS CONSIDER WOMEN MORE OF A SEX SYMBLE. Obliviouse to the fact that some woman don't mind strutting their breasts, it isn't right. It's plain wrong. I read in one of the earlier replies that one person said it was fine because males would be more uncomfortable. That is nothing but bull. If your a male, then I have right mind to smack you, becuase you would never know what it feels like to be expected to expose yourselves.
