I need some segestion and edvise. I love my fiancee and i might be pregnant with his child. I have always wanted to be a mother and I am so happy and excited. i was wondering if any of you know if by law if I can mary him. I am 17 as of tomarrow and he is 20. Most of you probably think that i am crazy for doing this but I had to grow up at a very early age. My mother abused me and I am still recovering from that. I had to pratically raise my little sister and I think of her as my own. The only down side to me is that i still have a year of high school to complete. Please if you know anything that can help me and my fiancee please say. Thank you for your time and information.

I think that it is wrong o haev sex before marriage. Even if you do love each other. Just becouse of your chances of getting pregnant. You never know if you're going to get pregnant. I am only 16 and I love children with a passion. I come from a big family with 8 bro/sis.(noy including my half brother), That when I get married I want at least 6 kids. Abortion is the worst thing I think they could of made legal. They are killing innocent babies, for the mistake that the perants made. I dunno why ppl think that teen pregnancy is such a big deal its not really if you think about it.... I know about three or four teenagers that are prenant!!! and there's about five girls pregnant in my school.... I agree with iamastar that things could be worse!!!!

The majority of the time the teen's family will help them out and provide alot of the things necessary to raise a baby until the teen can get out of school and get a job. But there are times where the family disowns the teen for having sex and becoming pregnant. Just be lucky if you are in the kind of family that would support you no matter what because it could be alot worse.

Teens are going to have sex you like it or not, there is NOTHING you can do about that. At least they should make it easy to get birth control and the MAP, so at least you can try to prevent unwanted pregnancies. By supporting abstinence only programs we are doing nothing to help with the situation.

totally know what u are talking about. my cousin got pregant this year. she's only a year and a half older then me so it really hit close to home. i went w/ my mom to her baby shower and even though i was looking at her and seeing her pregant and all the baby stuff from the shower gifts i couldn't help but think that her life is over. i don't think that having a kid can ruin your life when your older and established and are through w/ you education. i have so much planned for my life that i think that even though a child would be a joy. it would be such a constant reminder of the stupid mistake that i made. the joy of your own kids should come by the person that you are planning to spend the rest of your life w/ and after you've established yourself as a person.

I don't have a problem with it at all. Just don't abort them hey abortion is homicide!!!

I chose to stay protected because I have at least 10 or more friends with babies at my school and in diff. states I say why waste your time and have a kid now in your TEENS!! I'll admit it my BFF in the world Nicole Hollister has a little girl who is 4 months old named Tayler I love her so much because she is my goddaughter I say to you teens who has kids cherish your child/children as much as you can I chose to be protected and so can you!

I don't think it's irresponsible for a young girl to become pregnant. Some of them plan it or it just happened.*(maybe the condomn broke, these things happen) I think that all the things u guys have said here are true. I think being a mother alone is the most difficult job there is. I think its better than having aborted the child. I know my statements are a little confusing, its just that i feel very strongly against this subject, i wont say why. and no i dont have a baby. But why should we push these teens away when they are along in this, because the majority of the fathers leave or claim that it isnt his. WE just need to support them no matter how much we assume they are going to ruin their lives. There are many moms who had their kids at young ages and they have succeeded in life, so i really doubt that just because u have a kid it will kill u. Its just one of those obstacles in life u need to overcome.

About what I said earlier, I do not mean that it is OK to have pre-marital as I choose to wait until marriage, but at least, if you are pregnant while still a teen, PLEASE, PLEASE, do not abort your babies.
