I used to shake my heads at the people who got themselves pregnant because of fooling around. Sex is meant to be sacred, not just a moment of passion between two aroused people. But now, I am more for pro-life, so those teens who get pregnant, PLEASE whatever you do, it is better to raise your own kid or adopt it or if you can't afford it, ask help from friends, relatives or your family members. It doesn't hurt to ask help. Besides, it is better that way than having abortion. I am for pro-life, so please do not abort your babies, take care of them and love them.... and make sure you are careful next time. enough said.

I know a couple at my high school that has been going out for a year and a half (sophmores). They've never had sex, he proposed to her in August, and they plan to get married 2 years after graduating from college when they will both have well-established jobs (so they plan). Neither one plans to have premarital sex and if they ever break up, I swear I will cry and despair on high school dating.

I also know someone who has been going out with her bf on and off for the same amount of time, the same age. They had sex after going out for around 3 months and they were both virgins. They've broken up/gotten back together over half a dosen times, both have cheated on the other at least twice, not including the times they dated someone else during a break and cheated on them as well, and the mom has filed a restraining order against the bf. They are dating behind her back currently.

It might be cooincidence, it might be a characteristic flaw, but....

Its really weird to think about. There is a girl at my school whom I have known since I was little and she is pregnant. I've never been friends with her, but it is still weird to think that in a few months she will have a baby.

I agree, a baby doesn't ruin your life, but who honestly wants to be responsible for a child in high school? You might think you love kids, you adore babysitting, but taking care of someone 24/7, you're just not prepared in high school. If kids stopped having sex outside of marriage, the teens with babies situation would solve itself.

Again with the punishment thing, you see Jamaica having a baby is much more serious than that, you can't just say deal with like it's nothing(and this I'm not saying only for the mother but for the baby as well).

its not just condoms, those are never 100% protection. There's another thing out there called ABSTINENCE. Regardless of whether you are "sure" that you will or will not have a baby, you shouldnt be sexually active at such a young age. Cherish the innocence of your childhood.

Hey y'all. i have so many views on this just because my friend was raped and she had a little girl. She wanted to kill herself when she first found out she was pregnant but she couldn't she knew she was carrying a life inside her whether it was just a fetus or what not it is still a living person like me and you. i have many views but none include abortion because how could anyone kill a child. i can understand why my friend wanted to die she was 13 years old so i think it takes a lot of guts to raise a child that came from a rape. i know a lot of people who have committed suicide because they were raped and then found out they were pregnant. this lil girl is the best thing to happen to my friend and i know that she is glad that she went through with the pregnancy. I absolutely cant understand why kill an innocent child. they are still ur child no matter what happens to them and if u have an abortion you are killing your child

to me, I used to shake my head at teenage mothers knowing how irresponsible they are that they got pregnant and all, but now, I think it is ok for me as long as they won't abort their babies.... Teenage mothers might have gotten pregnant early, but i am proud of those who raise and keep their babies because I am for pro-life and I believe that if a girl gets pregnant, it is her responsibility to take care of it.

You shouldn't want to get raped it is not a very nice thing and it is the wrong way to get pregnant. Rape is a crime commited by a sick person and you should want to have sex not have sex be forced on you. Have a baby with someone you love not someone who hurt you. Rape is not a good thing.
