If you think the simple word "no" will work in a rape situation, you seriously need a reality check! The person guy/girl normally has a weapon and wont take that for an answer. If you are lucky you are killed if not raped, nearly dead and most likly pregnant (for girls). Did you ever stop and think mabee they wanted to save themselves for marrage, but there lifeis changed forever. They may have wanted to be a grad. of any sort but will probably drop out to care for thier new child. When they are trying to make a normal life again they are looked down apon and misjugded. No its not dumb but it is careless. And its careless because it was a mistake but in a way it wasn't because you knew it could of happened. Even with using condoms you still should be aware that they break and the thing (baby or disease) that comes with it.

It is dumb because why are they having sex in the first place if they dont want pregnancy- and even if it is protected nobodys perfect. Actually, the condoms probably broke because they werent used correctly... and the ppl who got pregnant and blamed it on the broken condoms probably didnt use condoms, just used the benefit of the doubt to make up that excuse. And by the way, it IS scientifically proven that NO protection is 100% effective in preventing pregnancy except permanent sterilization, which is only 99% effective. Condoms are about 80-85% effective, not sure on exact percent.

It's statements like that that allow teen mothers and fathers to feel free from taking responsibility. No, it's not their fault that the condom broke, but yes, it is their fault that they had sex, unless, of course, it was rape, in which case, that's a completely different story. And the issue isn't even "fault"; the issue is that there is a pregnancy, and it needs to be dealt with, and responsibility needs to be taken. I am all for teen sex, but I'm not for teens who try to shift blame because they are too lazy to realize that they no have responsibility.

well, ****s who are ignorant or dumb enough to not at least take the pill deserve to be pregant, bc they opened their legs in teh first place, probably to be cool or to satisfy their bfs.

My mom told me this story of a girl in her class who told her mom she was pregnant and asked her help. Her mom said "I wasn't there when you spread your legs so I'm not going to be there now."

I want to be like "amen" but something about being that harsh does not suit me. So my opinion on girls getting pregnant is this:

1.) It should not happen because there are so many methods of protection out there and if you're too lazy to go out get 'em then you definitely too lazy to raise a freaking kid.

2.) I'm there if you need me but I'm not going to be your caretaker. That's your job for your kid.

Hey you never know you just might . Sometimes most of those girls always have sex and don't use protection. But thats their fault not the parents,aunts,uncles,friends, not anyones (but yours).Also there are people out there getting aids with out using protection.I'm not saying not to have sex do you but if you don't use protection your the one who is going to pay the price (getting aids,or pregnant)
