Stuckonsushi, so do I. Nipple piercings, lower lip piercings, nose. Small gold ear rings or nose rings look really good on some guys. You know who Shifty Shellshock is? The guy from (SEE AVATAR)...I couldn't find any good pics of him, but he has some cool piercings...and he's hot. But having only one nipple pierced looks stupid.

And for bellybutton piercings; most of the time they aren't the best, because it's on of the most difficult places to pierce since there is very little blood circulation there and well you gotta have the stomach to show it off. The only good example of one I've ever seen was this girl, with first of all a great stomach, and a ring that was like a six or seven pointed star made of small glittery diamonds. It was really beautiful looking.

Jamaica, you are beyond ignorant about body piercing and the people with them. Some may get them as an act of rebellion. That doesn't mean they're "bad" kids, and it's absolutely ludicrous of you to claim that just because someone has a body peircing, they look like a criminal.

Also, who cares if someone gets a piercing because they think it looks cool? Different people have different opinions about what looks good. Some people dye their hair, some people get tatoos, some people get piercings, and some people just put some bright red lipstick on. It doesn't matter, and it's definitely not your place to judge.

And another thing, stop bickering about senseless things! If you're going to ***** at least ***** about something worth ranting about. You silly cheese doodles.!

To answer your questions...

I used to have a labret. I pierced it myself, but took it out because it started to get infected. Dont be an idiot like I was back in the day! If you're going to get a piercing done, get it done professionally. It is worth the wait. Trust me. I do currently have my ear lobes pierced a number of times and an industrial in my ear. I have nothing against facial piercings (as I said I used to have one) but now that I think more about them, I'd rather have people see me first before they see my piercings.

And a little note: DONT PIERCE YOUR TONGUE ON YOUR OWN! NO MATTER HOW EASY IT SOUNDS! You could easily hit a mjor vein a destroy more that you think you would. Check out pictures of infected tongue rings on google. I'm sure after you see those you'll do the right thing and get it done by someone who knows what they're doing.

sorry hun, you are being ignorant and judgemental. ive got a ton of piercings and I am a high honor student, studying abroad, I dont prefer black, and im not doing it for rebelliousness. I, unlike you, believe in decorating my body. You will also see my hands and my back tattoed with mhendi or henna, which you, in your little christian-is-the-only-way world, know nothing of.

For me, it's a journey to get that needle through my skin, some sort of new beginning. My first piercing, I did because of my rape. When I say that needle going through my skin and felt the pain, i remember my rape like it was yesterday, but when it finally passed through, my piercing was like saying "That's it. It's over. You'll forget this." About my rape. All my piercings have been like that.

So before you talk, know.

But body piercings may let you think its cool but its not. I mean, really, are you a Christmas tree that you have to decorate your body with painful body piercings? I would rather put luscious red lipstick on my face and make-up and put on my sexy dress than ruin the appearance of my body with body peircings. Who knows also? Maybe the one who pierced your body didnt sterilize his instruments or something.
Also, from what i have observed, those who wear body piercings are those who act rebelious like girls who's favorite color is black, people out on the streets looking like they just came from the city jail or something.
I tell you body piercings is not nice to look at. Most teens are doing that coz they want to follow the trend, they want to follow what they see on tv, what they see from their favorite rock stars and movie stars... But if you and everyone thinks its cool, how come people who are sons of presidents, daughters and sons of government officials or rich people dont wear that? I mean, they are still teens right? So, whats the exception? Their position?
I am not judging, i am just analyzing what i see in everyday life. Because from what i gather, if you are a respectable person, you wouldnt wear any of those painful and stupid body piercings like some fancy decorations on your tree.

Jamaica when you see piercings and you think its a sign of rebeliousness and that it makes girls look like criminals all you have to remember is that your ignorant. Your judging that person that you never got to know so you generalize them, kinda stupid.

I used to have my cartilidge peirced but, I forgot to take it out when I was going to get my haircut. She was brushing my hair, and, well... I suppose you can imagine what happened from there.

Most of you would say body piercing is cool but i want to differ. Body piercing for me is totally an act of rebeliousness and frankly, for girls, they look like criminals or bad girls or something. Before, i used to think that only criminals and bad guys have tatoos and body piercings but no, i sure cant differentiate which is which.. Also, piercings can be unsafe especially if the one who pierced you is not professional and uses unsafe practices.

I have both of my earlobes gauged to 0 gauge. I really like it because of all the different types of plugs i can wear in them.

Tongue piercings have the best chance of getting infected. I have one in each ear right now.
I m getting another one in my left in sept. I m getting my lip pierced next june and my eyebrow sometime in the near future.
