Question:
So, this is the question: did women have it easier in the Victorian age, when they had to wear corsets and a million layers of clothes (external control of their bodies) or today, when they starve and excercise their bodies into the shape they are expected to be (internal control)?

Choices:
Corsets, all the way.
I <3 the Atkins diet!

Wearing layers is stupid. Ppl had no excuse to stay healthy. B/c society allows me to show so much skin and stuff I'm more apt to take care of myself. I dance every day of the week for at least 3 hours a day, I run every morning for 2 miles w/ my boyfriend, and I take classes such as kickboxing and tae bo and yoga at the gym that I belong to. I watch what I eat pretty much all the time. If I layered, I wouldn't have to worry about how toned I look and whether or not I'm skinny enough to walk around in hardly any clothing. B/c I have those things to consider when I look at myself in the mirror, I choose to eat right and keep active. True, it has caused some eating disorder issues for me at some points in my life, but as for right now I do worry about what I eat, but I usually just eat healthy so that I get enough nutrients and such. Internal control is better. Anyone can do external. However, you can tell a lot more about a person if he/she is more willing to keep good care of their bodies and look hot. I think it's a lot better being able to show skin and all that.

One boy, one girl. Two hearts beatin wildly. To put it mildly it was love at first sight. He smiled, she smiled, they knew right away. These were the days they'd been waitin for all their lives. For a moment the whole world, revolved around one boy and one girl.
