What the hell is up with all of the "I hate myself" threads? Honestly, I'm trying to follow along with everyone's perspective, but why are you all so concerned with how others view you? Ten years from now, no one will know what you looked like in high school, or what you wore, or how large your hands were, or how many pounds you could have stood to lose.

Why don't you all focus your hate on to other people, like me? It's a sure-fire way to make you feel better. Let's take JoeyDauben for example; he shall be my lab rat. Whenever you feel slightly self-conscious about yourself, just think, "Well, at least I'm not a racist like that JoeyDauben. No one could hate me as much as him," thus giving you an instant self-esteem booster.

Or take me, for example. If someone calls you a sniveling, conceited ***** of a person, just think: "Gee, at least I'm not as mean as gemini! She's already got fifteen reserved places in Hell." Instant compliments, free at my expense.

If someone calls you fat, just think of that old cliché, "I might be fat, but you're ugly.. and at least I can diet." And if you think you're horrendously ugly, just say to yourself, "If people don't like me for who I am, then screw them. Appearances may be deceiving, but in Richard Simmons’ case, truly disgusting.. at least I have the advantage!"

So stop hating yourself, eh? Transfer that hate on to someone that sucks. It'll make you feel better. You can go from this -->

Eh, normal for kids with no self esteem I guess; I was the same way.

I still get nervous in thinking what others think about me, but I won't rant and rave on how much I "hate" myself.

And, yes, if it makes you all feel any better, continue to rack up the JoeyDauben threads, and throw empty grenades at me ...I've been here over a year, and have yet to buckle or back down.
