How do you feel about interracial relationships?

That is racist. Like Aguagon said, the fact that you have friends who are of other races or gay doesn't mean you're not racist or homophobic.

I've dated all types of guys. It truly doesn't bother me.

Except that I'm sort of going out with this Russian dude (duh) and my grandfather is coming to visit me and he HATES Russians...

That, by definition, is racism. Just because she has friends of other races doesn't mean she's not racist; there's a lot of ways to be racist. But to be fair, I think we're all racist to some degree, even if we aren't being so intentionally.

I've encountered a good deal of this, too. The gross reality is that due to the stereotype that black people have bigger genitals, a lot of white guys are afraid they won't be able to sexually satisfy a girl after she has engaged in intercourse with a black man. Often, they won't even consider trying if they know there's so much of a chance she might have had sex with a black guy. Any guy worth dating, though, will realize that this is just a stereotype, and even if it's true, that a woman's opinion of her mate goes far beyond his penis size.

Of course, that's all just speculation. Sorry if I disgusted anyone.

I think they are fine! After all, I'm the product of a black/white one. But the kids do have disadvantages. Like for instance, I have to straddle the cultural fence in order to get along with BOTH sides of my family. But I love my race ("Others" rock!) and I wouldn't change it for the world. There are SOOO many positives to the relationship and the kids.

I could go on this for a loooong time, but I'll make it short.

So in the end, I'm so happy for people in interracial relationships, and usually their kids turn out incredibly adorable.

That is just fine to be of different races and love someone. It's a beautiful thing and it also might change barriers of the past as well. That's a big maybe, though.

yeah, i think they're fine too ^^ hmm, my mom however, she wants me to marry another korean/asian person... but i'm starting to think i might marry someone caucasian, then again i'll never know til it happens i guess... oh well >>

they are perfectly fine. u can hav a relationship with whoever u want to, nomatter what race u are.
