now that i have your attention...
i was just wondering what people thought on the general subject of nudity, where it's appropriate, and with whom it's appropriate.
for instance; you and your friend (boys or girls) decide to go to the pool, and you change into your swimsuits in the locker rooms. you're both at some point naked, right? is that okay?
or what about if your'e at your boyfriend or girlfriend's house, and theinks are getting heated up. nobody's home and you two can do what you want. is it okay to take off the clothes?
i guess alot depends on things like "how long have you been dating?" or "how long have i known my friend?" or even "have i seen him/her naked before?"
what i'm wondering is what are your opinions on the matter. naked or not?

I'm not entirely sure...I mean, with a guy friend, probably not ( you know how teenage guys are) but I feel like I wouldn't be comfortable being naked with my boyfriend sexually, but I would change my clothes in front of him, for instance.

I have read somewhere that nudity is an art.... I have to say yes, its considered an art but nudity in society should not be encouraged as it is kind of impolite to be nude and stuff like that. About gf-bf situation, when you are home alone, best advice is: Dont do something crazy... I think its ok if you do make out or do some hugging but i think having sex or getting naked is a bit overboard...Sure, if one day i will have a bf, i would like to see him nude too but i would have limits. I think that when a person has the will and determination toknow what is right or wrong, then he or she will have limits of his or her actions. Nudity is considered an art but it also has its limitations.

Thier is nothing wrong w/ nudity but I have limits. Changing in the looker room is ok, and at my school we have no choice. But I think taking your cloths of in public where their are little kids then it is wrong. But this is only my opinion.

Nudity has been in art and culture for centuries. I dont think that we should all walk around naked, but sometimes nudity is appropriate. Paris Hilton exposing herself online is not appropriate. Now, if she wanted a tasteful mural painted of her (nude) that would be fine in my opinion. I mean come on now, who doesnt know about the naked guy with the leaf over his ****? You cant erase history and fine arts. If you are changing your baby ciblings diaper, why blush at the sight of their "privates"? If your in the locker room who cares you are all the same unless its a unisex changing room (highly unlikely). I say embrace nudity as long as it is appropriate.

You should read "lamb The gospel according to Biff Christ childhood pal" Funniest book ever! OK onto nudity! MY Aunt Uncle and GRANDPA, all live at a nudist colony. I went to visit them once (My relatives were dressed). I giggled the whole time. Something about naked old people. The other thing I find insane is girls in the locker room. I'm a swimmer, and when we change in the locker room all the gurls change behind towels! Now that's just weird. I have no problem gettin naked in front of other females. However I don't believe in premarital sex, so getting naked in front of the opposite sex is just adding unneeded temptation.

funny you should say "bringing it up..."
there was something i read that said jesus, during the fifteen year period where the bible doesn't say a thing about him, it was rumored that he traveled east. legend has it that in the east, he learned the ways of the Lama Karta, the Buddhist principles (some say he even met and studied with Buddha), and also Tantric Yoga. The tantric yoga is a practice of methodically stretching the muscles used during sex.
why might i bring this up? it gives a whole new meaning to "the risen christ." long way to go for a pun.
anyway......
i agree with most of what's been said here. i think nudity is a trait of an honest person. a person completely able to be comfortble with themselves as they are. wherever, and whenever.

Eww I didn't mean it that way. Though I wish it were true, but that's never gonna happen.

Nudity is a character trait of an honest person. A truly honest and open person, so I read.
Must explain why I'm crazy, goofy and always talkin about opening up a nude colony or running around nakie after I've had about three beers.
Hehe, yep, I'm odd, but oh well, it's what makes me unique.

"My best friend showed me his private area yesterday. It didn't really bother me that much, I just thought I'd bring it up."- Earthgoddess So, did you say it that way on purpose? You know the bringing it up part. I was rolling. Good play on words. Oh, and I agree with Celtic about nudity. Who cares. To each there own. We've all got one piece of equipment or the other. There's just some people that I'd rather not actually have to see while they're naked though.

Well, actually promiscuity IS human nature. It's much less natural for humans to be in a romantic monogomous relationship. It's society and logic that have led us to that. Nature isn't always right.

To me nudity is fine. If your with your boyfriend/girlfriend and things start to get a little heated..y not take off your clothes and do what couples do? But, if you dont feel the need to have to take off your clothes to prove a point, dont!
