I really need help, My friend is thinking about commiting suicide and I don't know how to help her. She cuts becuase she says that it is the only way that she can feel. I don't know who to go to and she feels like no one understands her. Since I don't cut and haven't ever been depressed I don't I do?

She won't like it, but tell her school counselor. Mine was good about this when someone told her I was suicidal. My counselor didn't tell my parents, at my request, and promise that while I was talking to her I wouldn't try to kill myself. Sometimes they can compromise. Don't tell her parents. Tell her counselor.

My older sister went through a really dark period near the end of high school where she was anorexic and trying all sorts of self harm so I know how you feel. It's pretty terrifying having someone close to you talking about suicide. Sorry. The most important thing you can do is LISTEN. Call her up for no reason and ask how she is, go over to her house and ask what she's been up to, ask her if she remembers fun memories you have - just get her talking and don't interrupt. And if you're sure she feels she can trust you, try to slowly give her advice on how to turn around or (preferably) encourage her to tell her parents and to get therapy. Just being there for her can help. My sister swears I saved her life, but I never did a thing for her except tell her I loved her. This might just be a call for help, so try to help. Remember, it's the little things that make all the difference so just do little things.
