Seriously, the whole race discussion has been done to death. No new and valid points can be added. It's all treading the same old waters. Give it up.

to me race is just your background i really dont care what color u are if ure attractive we can talk good great we get along but i dont see why people look down on it can u help me out i had this black b/f name marcus and i was at the movies with him this old lady looks at us and says society these days and it kinda mad him and me mad because it was none of he bussiness what we were doing and i personally dont care what she thinks about it because if u wanna call me a mixer do it if u wanna call me what kids call me inskool do it in skool y dont the kids understand they all kall me a ****** lover and it makes me very mad but plz reply and let me now sumthing b 4 i go insaine on these people

People just say purple because its a crazy color or whatever, and they say it to mean that they honestly dont care what color you are

Either that or theyre referring to nerds who are badly bruised from numerous beatings.

I always hear people refer to "purple" as I race. I admit I don't get out all that much, and I've never met a purple person. It might be some sort of expression, but I've always felt a little foolish to ask. Of course, there's also the fact that I am a fool.

Race. Your "blood." It can also refer to what country you're from, I suppose.

race is non-existant in a biological sense. culture and ethnicity are more useful ways of seeing differences. rascists are usually scared of the unknown and different culture another person may represent, but a black and white british person may have more in common than a white brit and a white russian.

race is nothing but a difference in appearance..mostly the underlying human feelings are the same everywhere around the world..
it shouldnt matter one bit to anyone in todays world....

While race does have cultural aspects of it, in todays world race referrs mostly to your genetic heritage and the general groups we can make out. Since, at least in America, genetic background is not supposed to be tied to your culture, we've moved away from that. Race therefore, in the modern definition we live with, is governed by your genetics.

Race: A group of people sharing common ancestry : clan, ancestors, breed, descendants, dynasty, family, house, kindred, line, lineage, people, race, stock, strain, tribe.
