Actually ears will go back to the normal size up to 1/2 inch usually. I've "unstretched" before and my ears looked fine it took about a week to be fully healed. I know tatoos arnt that painful but the laser type tatoos that arnt done with ink look like they would be.

0?? Anyway..when you take them out it makes your ear look all shriveled if they're big. And if you want it to heal you have to like cut your ear. It's weird. I wouldn't want a tatoo, becasue it will look disgusting when you're old and wrinkly. And it's expensive to get removed + leaves scarring.

you people are funny...tattos are really that painful, its the selfgiven ones that are painful, or the ones that are done with out a tattoo gun that really hurt.

I have my ears stretched to a 0 gauge. I've seen something like a tatoo only instead of ink they use a laser to burn the skin or scare it so the design turns white when healed its pretty cool. Looks like it would be painful though. I try and keep an open mind about bodymodification Its there body if they want to do something to it I have no prob with it.

Answer your question? I'm all for the piercings. I love piercings till no end. And tattoos... but suspension, branding and scarification is over the top and... dare I say it, gross. -Sunset
