And I don't think this is Meagan being a prude, I think this is just being sensible and safe. For one thing, when it's only a long distance relationship, you have to place a lot of trust in the other person and you really don't have any indication of how sexually active they are. It's safest to be in an exclusive relationship when you're having sex just because you never know how many other people s/he is having sex with and then how many people THEY are having sex with...
