Well, heres my story the other day me and a few friends of mine. were walking down the street to the local gass station. Sense there are no corner stores where i live.Now while we was walking. some white guy in a green suberbin got really close to the side walk and. Said some real negative words out his mouth.Now my Boyfriend Mike wasn't down for alot of disrespect.So he yelled back some real negative words. The man then made a U turn in the middle of the street. And said to Mike who is part Latino&Blk (Look you little mix ****** don't make me have to hert you.So if i was you i'd say sorry right now). But Mike didn't say sorry he spit on the man shoes and said i think you are the person who needs to be sayin sorry.I was scared because every time Mike get up set he gets Phyiscal unless the person he is upset with is female. But luckly my other friend had her cell phone so she called the cops and told them that we we're being harrased by an older whithe male blah,blah,blah.It seem like the cops took there good old time.But while we were waiting for the cops. The man kept saying how Us (******s)my friends and I .Belonged back on the plantation with the mules and Cows. Now the whole time i was thinking all this time how could i've been so nieve.And at this time i was done lissening to this man put me and my peoples down ! Some acting needed to be taking! So i reached up to the man face and punched him spack dab right in his eye and said to him i don't wanna here another nasty thing come out you trifling mouth.The man started come back at me but i wasn't scared.And then thats when the cops came. And you know what, nothing was done. The Cops said that we need to stay a way from that man, and no problems will accure again.Now my question is,What is it that make others hate some one else because of there skin tone or habbits or background ?Racism Is Stll Alive

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate black people. I really don't hate a specific ethnicity. But some black icons if you will, are now a sham. The NAACP is no longer an organization looking for equality, but rather a political interest group. Black entertainers constantly use what is deemed degrading language to call them selves, and mock the fact that other people are not allowed to use it. No, the police are not out to get you. It just seems that way when you shoplift the local 7-11. People are becomming too concerned about being offensive. **** that. Say what you ****ing want, just expect that what you say can cause someone to kick your ***. If I want to say "(N) ******" fine with that. If I want to say that so some black guys in the ghetto, I better not be suprised if I get shot. Conversly, the next person to call me a "cracker" will get a crowbar to the head and a boot to the balls.

I think you and "Mike" should be arrested for assault and battery.


I worked for my city's building department. I saw some of the well kept areas of my city, and some of the slummy areas. Well golly gee, 90% of the slummy area was inhabited by black people! And not many of them kept their lawn mowed, house painted, etc. So we go and give them citations, stake their lawn, log what we did and are about to leave, only to have the jackass come out and ***** at us calling us racists and what not. If you don't have the money to make a repair, call and tell us, so that we can work things out. We don't like giving citations (10-20 minutes of paperwork per citation. And when there are inspections that need to be made over at a housing development, we don't like to waste out time.)

Things like that lead to racism. A few bad experiences, and a general concensus forms around a group.

One of my pet peeves is a ghetto attitude. You know, ******s, gangster rap, people speaking/typing where "Da" = "The", etc.

You better feel real lucky. Suppose that man had, say, a crowbar, bat, shotgun, or knife.

Conservative15: there are a lot of problems with what you said but I'm only gonna bring up one. Did you ever actually hear the words "If a white disses a black man, it's wrong but if it's the other way around, it's not wrong" come out of somebody's mouth? Nah, I don't think so. The way you're talking about it makes you sound jealous. But I can understand why you're upset. I'm mixed with black and white so I'm on both sides of the fence. I hear it all the time. But you should stop talking about blacks vs. whites and just talk about why racism is wrong all together.

It's not just blacks that are being hated... whites are too. Although blacks have gone through so much more than whites... it's a growing problem.

Here's one thing about racism I hate: If a white person calls a black an idiot, its racism. If a black calls a white an idiot, its fine.

I think that racism is DUMB!!! I know some people that are racist, but i dont agree with that...In gods eyes we are all the same and we are all equal and i wish that people could get that through there heads!!!!

african american's already suffered back then for not doing anything but bieng presented in an unfamiliar color. they didn't do anything, they already went through all that pain and now it is the time of freedom. they aren't slaves, we aren't slaves, no one should be. God gave us 2 legs 2 arms, so we should use them and not put our labor on other people. i feel bad 4 the people who still hav to deal w/that racism ****, and what that man did wasn't right......at all!

yes unfortunatly racism is very much alive and i wish it wasnt. i am a 18 yr old white girl and i am only attracted to black guys and my father is racist. i believe skin color doesnt make the person....just like skin color,age, or anything that a person can find wrong with someone else they think they can be cruel...who actually gave them the right to do that?! God loves everyone and he put us all here for a reason, and i can be pretty sure it wasnt to hate each other...

I consider myself a nonviolent person, but I do love the image of a woman of color such as yourself working over some racist abusive **** of an old white fart's face. In case you aren't aware, the police are mostly white, and represent white power, and will not serve people of color as well as they will serve white folks. I wouldn't get physical if I were you, but I would also never stand there and get myself and my people degraded like that. I don't know about spitting, but good for your boyfriend for not taking it too.

ps, in the future, if somebody's being abusive like that and you think there's a chance the cops are gonna get involved, it's best to just stay so you'll be right in court. It'll look a lot worse for him if we was just screaming racial slurs at a bunch of kids for no good reason than if a bunch of kids apat on him and hit and he got mad. I'd like to see his *** nailed to the wall (in the legal sense, or course)
