I have been caught with marijuana four times (parents not police) now. My parents say that they are no longer mad at me, but scared that im screwing up my life. From what I have read, they really dont have anything to be scared about. I used to use weed regularly but am down to a few times a week, which i feel is fine because you give a few days for your brain cells to recooperate. What to you think about my parents thoughts and my actions???

My parents have caught me twice. They just pretend to have forgotten about it I guess; we don't really talk about it. If I get caught again, it will probably be less stressful than before. I don't do it much, maybe once a week. It's just something my friends and I do for fun. I still have good grades, am involved in drama club and other activities, etc. In other words, I'm not a "burnout" like my parents are scared I will be.

Even if you only use it a few times a week, consistant use will deteriorate reaction time memory capacity. There are also several other side-effects inherant in marijauna that can't be avoided, no matter what you do.

I think you are doing fine. My parents also caught me with weed a lot when I lived with them. They all have similar concerns because obviously if you do it 24/7 you would be an unproductive person. Just dont let it destroy you and you will be fine.
