I started shaving last year when I was 14 years old. I just told my mom that I wanted to and she was against it and said something about "Your going to get more hair then before so when that happens don't be crying to me, do you hear me? You don't even have hair" and some other stuff that she was screaming about. I don't remember. I shaved because for my mom saying that is the "okay" to actually do it or maybe I am in denial. She is always against everything I do so um I just jumped right in. It's not that hard for me, I shave once a week or something and my legs are fine for that whole week and sometimes half of the other week.
I'm not sure, I could help you on the pads thing. Sorry!!!!!!
Bye n have a nice day

I absolutely hate shaving. With a great passion. It is horrible and I have huge scars on my legs from cutting them while shaving.
And yes, the white stuff is normal. And you could use a pad to absorb it, but it would be more comfortable to use a panty-liner, as they are thinner.

i started shaving around 12. Heh, i stole my mom's razor, and she was pissed mainly cuz i didn't tell her. You probably gotz hairy legs and don't know it (no offense) even the blonde hairs show up. So just start shaving.
Your mom will probably let you.

this is all very strange for me because let me explain something: im 14, and i am just BARELY starting puberty! i dont have a period, i dont shave, I still look like im 10! seriously, i went to the dentist one day and she was like "so charlotte, what grade are you in now, 5th?" and im like "no, 8th, im just short" but its not just my height! I know plenty of short women who look like short WOMEN! its like, i think like a teenager, but i look like a little kid! AAAAAHHHH!!!!!

I started shaving when I was 9 cuz the boy I had a crush on told me I had hairy legs lol. The things we do for boys. My mom didnt fight it cuz she knows Im hard headed and would do it whether i had her permission or not.

well if your mom says no, just shave your legs anyways....it isnt like she is going to notice that easily. oh and that white stuff...its discharge...welcome to womanhood! get used to it...its going to be there for quiet a while so you better get used to it. if you are worried about it getting on your undies buy some pantyliners...they are thinner than pads and work really well....they even came out with black ones...ooo la la! lol well there ya go!

I started shaving when I was 12 cause I was starting to feel hairy. My mom was totally enthusiastic about showing me, she's so weird. That white milky stuff is normal. It means you're about to start your period. Oh, and you cannot get TSS or Toxic Shock Syndrome from pads, although it is required that you change your pad for hygienic purposes. You get TSS from tampons, which are in my opinion too, way better than pads. They let you do the things you want without feeling like you're wearing a diaper.

i started shaving... round... 12 years old i think. and it was my idea. my mom was against it because she didnt shave until she was in highschool, but i said i was gonna shave so i bought my own damn razor. lol. and yea bout the white stuff, u dont need a pad for it. oo and tampons are better but u need to switch more often then pads. i dunno its ur choice.

shaving isnt much of a big deal (not for me anyways) just tell your mom that you think it is necessary for you to start shaving, its really no big deal, no one wants to be furry! and about using pads when youre not on your period, its not necessary, thats going to be going on for a long time, and the "white milky" stuff is natural, you can read more about that kind of stuff at gurl.com, i know its pretty helpful for girls with lots of questions. changing pads is for the very best on your period, if you dont change it, its going to get pretty nasty down there, and its good for your health to change. if youre worried about "leaks", you might want to consider tampons, thats what i use, and trust me, its a lot better in my opinion...
