I live in a small town. There's nothing to do. Some people live in a city, and still don't have anything to do. I want to know how the place you live effects how you talk, what you do, your family, anything and everything.

I live in a average town in washington. I like it, It's not too far from big citys, but not so small its out of touch. I wouldnt want to live anywhere else. Lots of trees and forests. The only problem is the contant housing developments going up and forests going down.

I was born in a small town in MT but i dont really remember that but then lived in another small town in TN until i was twelve. now i live in AZ, in a bigger city and i think life is definatly differant, of course there is the obvious differance in the way people talk because it was the south, but there are alot of other ways it is differant. There i knoew everyone, and we were all friends but here i have my friends but there are tons of people i dont know. there is definatly alot more drama here and people don't get along as well. I still visit TN every summer and we always have something to do we even go to the wall mart parking lot to hang out almost every night. here we have to think up something to do and we always end up soing something lame like going to the movies and it isnt nearly as much fun as wallmart

Ha, how weird.I used to live in a small hick town in Florida. I'm black, so I never really felt welcome. Racism can do that to you. I moved to Seattle, and life ha sbeen great. Alrhough, I do think I'm moving to Cali soon. I miss the sun.

I live in a small town too. It doesnt effect the way i talk, atleast i hope not. I think everyone living in a small town wants to get out, but edventually you'll want to come back.

I live in south texas and moved here from Seattle so you can imagine the heat nearly killed me. It cost me my gymnastics career because of the heat strokes but I became very fond of swimming. I've become adujusted to the heat over the past eleven years but that's the big change I've seen.

I live in a cute little suburb of Detroit. There is nothing to do in my little city. Everything closes at 9-10 at night. We are within like a half hour of Downtown Detroit, so we always have the option of heading to the city if we want to. My family, eh, we typically go to the boat on the weekends during the summer. We sometimes go to the movies, which is like a mile from my house, but at $9 a ticket, we usually just rent movies or watch them on HBO or cinemax instead. We also are big board game players...Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Apples to Apples...and card players...euchre, hearts, rummy... As far as how it has affected my speech...I say "pop" to refer to soft drinks/soda...but that is more of a midwest thing than a suburb thing. I like to use appropriate grammar, even when speaking. My region is the one that is most considered to be "accentless," actors and actresses frequently imitate our way of speaking if they are playing just a normal role in a movie or tv show.

Well, I used live in Las Vegas NV and are family moved to a small Nc town about 2 years ago. Living in Las Vegas, I did nothing everything cost to much to do for kids/teens. everything was made for adults who drank, drugs, casios so I did nothing really! Living in a small town_ it has bad days of nothing to do *being homeschooled, and not knowing anyone* does'nt help.. But overall I like small towns.. This summer I had the most fun ever (all little free events in are town)
