I definately agree with u Punkin05.. I think that people are NOT born gay becuz first of all God creates all people perfect and makes them all pure and holy... If God created them gay when born then he'd be a hypocrite to what he says in the bible.. Think about it God burned down 2 Cities on account to men falling in love with angels back in bible times. So obviously God does not approve of Gays, and therefore WOULD NOT CREATE people GAY...

Gays do not and can not choose to be gay. What causes sexual attraction is an odorless chemical called a Pheromone. The Pheromone is secreted by a person's skin, it carries into the air, hits the Olfactory gland in the nose of another person and causes a chemical reaction in the brain, which then causes sexual arousal. Nobody has control over whether they're attracted to male or female Pheromones. Female pheromones are constantly dancing around your nose, but your brain doesn't care. If a good looking male wafted his pheromones at you, you'd be attracted. With gay people, their brains don't care for the pheromones of those of the opposite sex. They have zero control over that. Just like I have zero control over my heterosexuality. I didn't choose to be straight, I just am.

Human beings are social animals. We thrive on social interaction. We need it to survive. It's instinctive. Children who grow up with little to no human contact can be damaged permanantly. Gay people are contantly being alienated from society, ridiculed, harrassed, threatened, and even murdered. If homosexuality is a choice, don't you think their instincts would kick in and tell them to "choose" to be straight just so they can be accepted by their peers?

Imagine, only hypothetically, living in a world where everyone is gay and you're one of a very few that is straight. Imagine the gay people are constantly harrassing you and trying to hurt you, because you're different. Imagaine they're constantly telling you, you chose to be straight, and no matter how much you yelled and screamed no one would listen to you. Wouldn't you be mad? I know I would.

Homosexuality is not a choice. That is a fact. Pure and simple.

It's completely different. but it's not only that. you refuse to acknowledge that the harassment faced by the LGBT community is not appealing and no one looks for that type of harassment. I must disagree with you on this. I grew up watching Disney movies andsuch where there were always the happy straight couples. I actually had never met anyone that I've known to be gay until fairly recently. I was never abused by any male. Sure, my relations with my dad have always been less than perfect, but it's merely that our personalaties conflict.And despita all of that I'm a lesbian. I feel that it's all completely natural and largely hormonal.
