clpo brings up a good point. AGAIN. This is a revolving door argument. Until we get out, no one's going to change direction (probably). Love, time to actually read on those "studies".

I don't think you can be born gay because there was a study of these two identical twins and one grew up in a different place than the other and one ended up gay while the other one was strait...so, it was two people with the same genes, and that didn't stop them from having different views on genders. There are no such thing as "gay genes"

Why does it even matter if it's a choice or not? I've never been able to understand this.

I wouldn't call it a defect. And it's apossibility because it scientifically make sense. The placement of jupiter isn't related at all, so that's a poor comparison. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

There is a POSSIBILITY that you will be gay if you are born on the night that jupiter and mars align with the galaxy of xerox. Should we just assume that because it lets the gay agenda have it both ways. I don't think so.

Right, because there isn't POSSIBLY the chance it's something more than genetic, but less than a choice... And this is coming from the expert, supporter, ladies and gentlemen. Listen closely and you might *learn* something...

No. So being gay is like being a crack addict. Did the mother have a lot of gay sex while she was pregnant therefore making the baby addicted to gay sex. Come on, it is not the same thing at all. The gay lobby wants to have it both ways: If you are born gay then there is something different about your mind than everyone else. If you aren't born gay then it is a choice and doesn't need to be tolerated. Which one is it, a mental or genetic defect or a choice?

Gayism. Written by a true ignoramus. I love this site. And for your information, you can be born a crack addict. The babies of crack addict mothers (along with any abused substance except for alcohol) are born with a crack addiction.

Absolutely not true. Gayism is a creation of man and it is not natural or hereditary. Can you be born a crack addict?

I think its something that just cant be explained anymore than love at first sight can be so lets just say that some people are gya ns some people arent but you cant break everyone down into just gays and straights and expect a good society we all need to learn that no matter what background or lifestyle we have we're americans and people want to kill us just for that and if we arent united they just might. and LTR i get it now so ignore the "what?" post.
The original draft of The Lord of the Rings featured Chuck Norris instead of Frodo Baggins. It was only 5 pages long, as Chuck roundhouse-kicked Sauron's ass halfway through the first chapter.

He didn't say it was a choice. He merely said it wasn't genetic.

You contradict yourself within this one sentance. If you can't control who you're attracted to, then it's obviously not a choice. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

They only did the study on gay men. I'm sure there are some studies on lesbians. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore
