Well, me and my g/f have been going out for about 10 months. Were both going to be sophmores. I was wondering is there anyone out there that you know or yourself that has had a relationship last all threw highschool and then got married. I guess I'm wondering because I think I'm truly in love with her. Just wanted to see whats the chances of us staying together all threw highschool.

Most high school relationships do end. That's just the facts of life.

However...my parents met on a blind date while my mom was still in high school and they've been married for 25 years (not necessarily happily though...)

Friends of mine who graduated my freshman year dated all throughout high school and for several years into college. They're now engaged and, since they both just graduated from college, will be getting married relatively soon.

If it's love, you two will try your best to stay together. I know plenty of happily married couples who were high school sweethearts. Some have even been married as long as twenty years. It can happen.

My girlfriend and I have also been dating for ten months, and although we only got together near the beginning of our senior year of high school, we plan on staying together throughout college, and hopefully marrying after we graduate college.

The important thing is to talk this over with your girlfriend. Talk about how you feel and ask if she feels the same. Keep the communication going. As incoming sophomores, it will probably be hard to keep together three more years, but if you two really want to be with each other, little can stop you from doing it.

I wish you two the best.
