Do you really think your body is sacred?
Well, then be careful with it, I wont never be an eating disorder girl. I think that there are many things that I can try before going out with vomit.. big grin

If you haven't suffered from one you don't know what the person is going through. I kind of fell into it. I was tired of guys calling me fat even though i wasn't. I was tired of the pressure of trying to be someone I wasn't and I broke. I got depressed and thought that if I was skinnier poeple would be nicer and my parents would get off my back and the sad thing was it worked. As I was losing weight the guys in my class became nicer and I didn't feel like I had so much pressure to uphold the perfection I was known for. But now I'm suffering I can't look in the mirror and I'm always thinking about what if I didn't start this crazy process to begin with or what if I didn't listen to the boys in my class. I'm moving on and actually switching schools so I can get away from everything that started this.

eating disorders are a lot more complicated than simply believing that the body isn't sacred.

i know many anorexics who believe that you show a lack of control by giving into your appetite and eating whenever you get hungry. does it make sense? not to us, but it may to them.

don't fool yourself into thinking that eating disorders are nothing but a base desire to harm one's body. the psychological and neurological issues are immense and complicated.
