Ok, well this Monday,(8-18) I have to go to the docters, because I'm supposabally 25 pounds underweight. So basically, the docter wants to talk to me (or yell at me) and tell me why it's bad to be skinny or starve myself or something. (I don't even starve myself, but my parets dont believe me and neither will the docter)

Well, I have no idea what to expect, im just so pissd off I have to do this. Has ANYONE, ever had to do this, and if so, can someone please warn me about what shes going to do or say to me?
Please Respond ASAP, it's this Monday!!

i can understand how you feel, i have also always been underweight becuz my family tends to be skinny. i eat normally and everything, yes NORMALLY you skeptical ppl. i am not afraid to eat a big ol' 1 lb. hamburger and ice cream. i just really hope that you truly dont have a problem. and no one can really MAKE you eat more. just keep on eating, and maybe you can prove them wrong. also, dont try to eat more and be a glutton just to try and gain weight becuz they dont believe you. maybe you are like me, not unheathily underweight, but just plain and simply skinny.

I can tell you how you came to be 25 pounds underweight. If you only eat a "couple of crackers" you're overworking yourself just by walking around. Seriously, that is not enough to live on, regardless of how it fills you up. If you don't eat more your weight will continue to drop, and you most likely won't be losing fat. If you have a six-pack you must not have much fat in the first place. If you continue to lose weight, it will most likely be water weight, muscle mass, and bone mass-- the stuff you want to keep! Believe me; that's exactly what I lost.

Yes, I was admitted to a hospital eating disorders program because I openly refused to eat. They said "You're gonna have to do better than fruit." and I said "Nuh uh." Slam. I was removed from my home, my school, my life for two long months, and it happened just like that.

To be blunt with you, you sound to me as though you might need treatment for an eating disorder. Even if you aren't doing anything intentionally, your eating is distorted if you only consume a couple of crackers and feel full. In an eating disorders program you would be able to meet with a dietician and plan out healthier meals and design an exercise plan that is suitable to your caloric intake. If any part of you wants to give a program like that a try, do it. It's the best thing you can do, and I really think you would benefit from it.

Let me know how things go. Smile

hey madpuffinkeeper, I just wanted to write back to your post.
Honestly, I have no clue how I'm 25 pounds underweight. I'm still questioning myself about that. Last night I just went on a height an weight chart, and it said that the average 13 year old is 110 and 5'1. I thought that was to much, but I checked with two other sites and they said the same exact thing. ont starve myself. I dont over work myself anymore. But it only takes a couple crackers to fill me up.

So, I'm just wondering, did you end up in that program because you told the docter you would refuse to eat food?

it's a good thing you're going to the doctor because even if you don't have a eating disorder, you might have some other kind of medical problem that is causing you to be underweight. Don't sweat it..I highly doubt this doctor is going to yell at you and rip you to shreds in his office. After all, he's paid to help you in whatever way he can.

Hope everything turns out okay for you!

Eat some fricking food, anorexicrazy person.
Seriously, just eat a whole lot of healthy food. Not junk or anything, but eat. I kind of have to do this, my metabolism is so high that I pretty much can't get fat. I move at all and I get skinny, so I have to eat a lot to keep from going anorexic.
