I thought you
were anorexic?
Well, if you're 25 pounds underweight you should be very careful. They could easily have you placed in some kind of eating disorders program. I don't mean to scare you, but it's what happened to me. I made the mistake of openly defying my doctor's recommendations. If you don't want to be thrown into an outpatient program, day program, or -worse- inpatient program, just agree to eat more, regardless of how you feel about it or whether or not you actually plan to. Agree, agree, agree! Believe me, I did the opposite and spent 2 months inpatient for it, 2 more months in day program, and I'm still in outpatient! Sorry if it sounds like I'm preaching gloom and doom here, but it's just a possibility that you should be aware of.
However if any part of you thinks you would be willing to maintain a
healthy weight, you should follow the doctor's recommendations; whether or not you realize it, you do seem to have some type of disordered eating. If there's any way for you to get out of this,
do it while you still can! Sorry if my advice seems a little conflicting; I just don't know much about your situation. How, if you are not restricting food, purging, or overexercising, did you come to be 25 pounds underweight? And do you want to be healthy, or do you want to be seriously underweight? Because my advice to you would differ depending upon your answers to those questions...
Write me back, okay? I'm interested in your situation.
