The Bible was written by men that were inspired of God. Even if the Bible wasn't true, I can still talk to God through prayer and find out what is right and what is wrong. Besides that, it's just common sense.

It does not specifically state that in the bible...no where in the bible are the exact words "It is a sin to be gay" no where...it's all open to interpretation...you believe in the bible and in god because you have faith...but there is a fine line between faith and gulibility...It makes no sense to beleive everything they feed you...you believe in your religion on the foundation of what I hope is love and tolerance which is what christianity is supposed to teach...there are things in the bible which contradict this...I hope you are smart enough to figure out which one is really more truthful to your religion...

And that's fine that you can't understand it because I can't understand why anyone would be happy being straight because I'm not but I have tolerance for them and accept them for who they are

The bible was written by men and not by god. You do not know what god wants. you can not say you know what god wants untill you have spoken to god yourself and heard god tell you that he doesn't want gay people to be together. Men wrote the bible, it may have been inspired by god, but it was not written by god... and there are other religions who do not share the beleifs of Christianity regarding this matter. why do you assume that whatever it says in the bible would hold the same importance to me as it does to you...that is very egotistical

Go Here Look for the words King James Bible on the left habd side and click on it. Then look up Genesis 14. Look at verses 4-11. The men that visit Lot are angels. Keep that in mind.

The way I see it, adopting is better than childbirth, although I wouldn't go through with either. I have an incredible dislike for kids, especially little girls. I'm the least maternal person you will ever meet. But anyway, if you adopt a baby, and you raise it the way you would raise a child that you had, you would love the child as much as you would love a child you gave birth to, because even if it wasn't made from you, it's still yours. You took it in, you cared for it, loved it, fed it, blahblahblah. So it's your baby, even it's not from you. And if you adopt a child, you don't have to go through the whole childbirth thing, because I've witnessed a couple, and they don't look like much fun.
