I want to say something. But it would be a waste of time talking to a lower primate, such as yourself, Joel.

no, i'm just offering a different perspective. being a Christian does not mean closing your mind to possibilities. oh, and by no means did i imply they were otherwise. they are indeed mother-in-law to sister-in-law. what i meant was perhaps they have a sisterly relationship (much like men have a brotherly relationship with other men) as opposed to a platonic or subtextually sexual one. but i firmly believe they loved each other. or more specifically, Ruth loved Naomi.

quote: are you trying to say that the Bible is not true???
It's very easy to say that the bible is not true. it has been translated and rewritten by hand far too many times to be crediable. Also, the differences between the books also show how noone remembered anything quite right to begin with. I gave you a more lengthy explaination on another thread. they didn't know each other that well. sisterly love? perhaps. the bond of women? maybe. as far as i've read the book of ruth, the implications of the relationship between naomi and ruth is up for interpretation. which says a lot about the rest of the good book, too.

He hadn't fallen in love with the angels. He was protecting them because they were God's messangers. God destroyed the city because the people in it were cruel, unless I am sorely mistaken. quote: If u dont beleive in the biblical form of creation then how do u beleive we came into existance??

Did you even read the book of Ruth, joel? Those words she speaks, are to her mother-in-law, Naomi. A subtextually homosexual relationship. How many times must it say they kissed her?

how does ruth talk about same sex marriage??? this is what it says when i checked it out...
16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
tell me how this deals with homosexuality..??

All Angels are men eh? And the Bible was written by men, right? So only men can become Angels... How rude of God. And you haven't read very much of the Bible you dope. Read the following for me, in which not only NOT condemned same-sex relationships, but may even be considered to codone them: Ruth 1:16-17 and 2:10-11 1-2 Samuel, especially 1 Samuel Chapters 18-20 (pay particular attention to 18:1-4, 18:20-21 and 1 Samuel 20:41... also 2 Samuel 1:26) Daniel 1:9 And lastly, I agree with Green: You're right, God didn't make Adam and Steve, but he didn't make me either. My mom and dad did that, silly goose!

The Big Bang theory is how our solar system was created. And there is a lot more evidence toward that than Creation. Evolution is how humans came to be.

So angels and gay men are the same thing? Could you please give the verses so we can look this up? Seeing as I don't believe in creation, the whole Adam and Steve argument is even weaker than normal.
