I think the point the writer was making was that it's hard to feel secure with your body if you turn the page and see 100 pound beauties with great bodies. It's just sending the message that you're not good enough, unless you look like that.

lol That's funny. I think that if you're confortable in your own skin, yes, you will show more of it. I used to starve myself. I'm 5' 10" and I used to weigh only 140 or so. Skinny skinny for being so tall for a female. I used to wear cute skimpy stuff, but I've gained 50 lbs in the past two years and the only thing I'm willing to show now is cleavage. I certainly wouldn't wear a bikini cause my stomach would show.
