Apparently, I've just fallen in love with my best friend. But i don't want to pull a Britney (no offense, brit fans) on this.

Gurl, its ok,,im sure alot f other people are friends with eachother, and then they fall in love, take me for an example, I have been friends with this one guy for like 5 years, and now, we have both developed a liking to eachother, and just yesterday he asked me out!!!! so dont feel bad, ask him out, if he says no, dont take it personal, just suck it up and if he says yes, when u 2 break up, u will still need eachother. in the end, no matter what,u will still be friends!!!

hey listen like what ppl said you need to find out if you do love him and if you do then you should talk to him about it not just tell him and leave him confused and shocked cuz you caught him off guard us guys normaly hate being suprised like that and if he is a tru friend he will understand and it wont bother him and who knows he may feel the same way

not everyone. i have a male best friend, he's just a friend. he's amazing and i love him lots, but i'm not 'in love' with him. if you know where your heart is, you can control what it does...

Everybody has a crush on their best guy friends. It's inevitably going to happen. Just do some soul searching : Do you really love this guy, or is it just a crush?
If you do the soul searching and find out that you do really have a thing for the guy then decide whether or not you want to tell him. Telling him might ruin the relationship, but not telling him might drive you crazy.
It's your choice, choose wisely.

Eh it happens all the time. Make sure he feels the same before you do something too forward because otherwise it might get awkward.

Your 'love' should be your best friend in a way. Just to repeat what was said before, make sure its not messy if it has to end at some time. Does this guy know about it? Has he shown similar intrest? The people i've gone out with have both been good friends of mine before we started a dif type of relationship, you just mainly have to concentrate on your friendship coming first.
