personally im not, i believe in indulging in the life that i have because well...you only have so long so why not? i do not condone hard drug use or constant drug use, i think a little everyonce in a while is fine, but thats just me, i have no problem with someone's ideals torwards this kind of stuff because this is all a matter of choice, i am in no way a big drinker, or a pot head but i have done both and i enjoyed it and i will probably do it again, but i limit myself and i will in no way allow myself to get addicted to either

my best friend is. none of that stuff u listed ever bothers me about her, but it is annoying when we are at a friends house and she starts acting up because they are smoking or drinking. she wont even break silly laws that no one cares about. actually, i got her to sneak ppl into the drive in for a little while... WOOOHOOO!

According to your definition of straight edge, i would be in that catergory. I'm unexperienced in any physical or mental situations and even then, i'm not stopping my beliefs.

I am in regards to sex and drugs but as for alcohol..... heh. Not quite.

As for whoever it was who wanted to know what straight edge was, here is my really brief summery. It started in the 80's(?) punk/hardcore scene. The basic idea is taking care of your body, as in no drugs, no drinking, and no promiscious (sp) sex. Their is also straight-edge (sXe) bands. Sometimes sXe gets a bad rep, as their is militant straight-edge people who have been known to attack drug users, ext. However, sXe is really just a way of living your life.

Hmm...well..I don't do drugs or drink but I've never called myself straight edge. I don't feel like I need a whole movement and a label just to show a little self control.

I'm streight edge in regards to drug use and drinking. I just don't want to mess up my life with that junk. Its not worth it.
