bisexuality is like a minority within a minority. People just can't fathom the fact that you can be attracted to both men and women. Most people just think you're confused or transitioning your way from straight to gay or vice versa. Goodness. I'm bisexual. Not confused. There's a difference.

People generally can't accept it because quite a few (straight) teenage girls claim to be bisexual because guys tend like the idea of two girls getting it on. That is, at least, how it was at my high school. I knew quite a number of supposedly bisexual girls, but I never once heard of them having girlfriends. And at my school, you heard about everything if it was even the slightest bit out of the ordinary. Two girls dating is quite a bit out of the ordinary for my area. I don't doubt that people actually are bisexual, but people tend to view it as a teenage fad.

People are often 'scared' of bisexuals due to the fact that some of if interferes with some religions. Such as Christian for a good example,in Christianity it's a Deadly Sin to be bisexual. And Bisexuals are often seen as 'weirdos' in our modern day society, it was very common a long long time ago. I guess people tend to bend the human vision to accept things once accepted to things that are plain wrong in their vision.

I don't know why people can't accept bisexuality. I can give many reasons why they should accept it, why it isn't wrong and all that stuff. I can't tell you why they can't accept it though.
Some people think I'm crazy, but I'm just different.

Fair enough. I guess the point I'm trying to make, though, is that you be certain of where you stand on the sexual orientation scale long before sixteen.

Your 16 in a sexually saturated teen culture. You are confused. You just don't know it yet. Don't go defining yourself so damn early. Also, GET OFF MY LAWN! *shakes cane*
