Hi my name is Heather. I have two children who are only 12 months apart. It is very hard. I had my 1st when I was 20 and soon, soon after got pregnant with my second. I go to college full time and work a part time job. My husband also works full time and part time. When you have children it is alot of work and it changes everything in your life. My sister is 17 and may be pregnant. I have told her many times about having children at such an early age before you actually get an idea of want you actually want. There are so many ways to prevent pregnancy now days and so many teenagers do not take this to heart. Trust me from experience of raising a 1 1/2 year old, 8 month old, and my 17 year old sister. Times are hard in the economy and children are very expensive. Put ALOT of thought into it and make sure you are absolutely ready when you decide to start having kids. Take your time with life. Don't let anyone influence you, and if you do decide to have children keep your head up and stay on the right road. Alot of young mothers and fathers that I know do drugs and don't worry about their kids. That is not the way to be esspecially if you honestly love your children. You can lie about tragedy to gain attention. Many pathological liers lie about having cancer, family members dying, etc, to get attention. If not, they are dillusional and believe their lies.

I know that it is really hard to have a child. I am 16 and i have a 5 month baby boy. He is the pride and joy of my life.I love him so much..If i could go back and change time. I wouldn't have been so stupid. GUESS WHAT....HE JUST ROLLED OVER ON HIS OWN!!!!!!!!!!!He can be really diffucult when he wants, but it is really hard.

This sounds pretty unbelievable to me...it's sad if it's true but it's even sadder if it's not and you just want attention.

I do agree, it's a way to avoid pregnancy but it's not birth control by the modern definition. it does limit the number of children, but you don't say "I'm on birth control, it's abstinance."

Allright, frankly I don't know if to believe you. There are so many girls out there claiming they're pregnant, are having twins, etc, that's it's really hard to believe them. And then your murder tragedy story....

However, if what you say is true, why are you now having twins? Are you wealthy? Can you provide for these children in the future? Kids grow up, the cutesy little baby turns into teenage dirtbag and then they require more things (such as college). That's what most people who are young and want kids don't realize, your child won't be fun and adorable forever.

wicca, did you not learn the first time? I'm aware that you love your children but honestly...don't you think they would have a better life if you waited until you were older to have them? After getting pregnant the first time, I don't think I'd have sex anymore until I was married or much older. That just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Yes so that's why shock shouldn't be the reaction b/c we all know birth control isn't 100% effective....

I understand how hard it is...I have a 3 year old son and just found out today Im pregnant with twins(boy/girl) its extremely hard being 16 and having kids My firsts I was just careless and now It was a shock cause Ive been on BC for about 2 1/2 years...but I care my son (3 yr old twin bro) died in the hands of a murderer which I was unaware of...Its extremely stress ful b/c I want the best for thembut am afraid Im gonna do something wrong...But I love them regardless and good luck to you and your sister
