It is their choices to make. no one else can make it for them. I know some that is 15 and dating a 24 yrs old man. It really wrong but if that is wat they want to do then they go head. age is just a number.

You're so mature. Seriously, leave people alone unless they're your friends who its okay to joke with.
Or at least just call him a "cradle robber", it's so much classier. "Oh yeah.. he's robbin' the cradle."

Jenos, have you been to http://www.worth1000.com? It's fantastic photoshop competitions and stuff. I'm not sure that's where Tuesday got that, but you'll find tons of stuff like that there.

It really varies from situation to situation. I woulnd't necessarily approve of a 14 year old dating a 50 year old, but you can have a truly great relationship with someone who is many years older or younger than you. The oldest man Who I was ever involved with was 13 years older than me. The sad thing was, even though I was still in high school at the time, I was more mature than he was in many ways. I am now with a really great guy who happens to be 11 years older than me. He treats me better than anyone else has in my entire life. He is a really good person, and his age doesn't matter to me at all. We have an indescribable connection, good communication, good chemistry, mutual respect, trust, and we care about the same things in life. To me, all of that is much more important than age.

There is a couple like that in my school and everyone makes fun of them lol. the girl is in my sister's grade, (8th grade) and the boy is in my grade (11th grade) We dont know how they met...but then again no one really does. We refer to the guy as a petifile, and the girl, his fetus. If they are holding hands or something, we will go up to them and be like "(guy's name).....You ... you have a fetus attached to you....." In school, when they were going over the rules for the dances and stuff the instructor says "oh yeah...and only high school people can attend the dance, even if they are someone's date" and we all laughed and were like HAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA.

Lol, that last post was hilarious... Anyway, I think it shouldn't happen. There's a lot of growing that goes on between 14 and 18. I think that you should be an extremely mature 15 year old to date an 18 year old, or a moderatly mature 16 year old to date someone 18-21

IM 14 AND I DATE GUYS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15AND19. WHEN I WAS 12.5 I WAS SEXUALLY ACTIVE WITH A 16 YEAR OLD. AND NOW WE HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY TWINS. quote: Originally posted by BabyGyal: i want to know what you think about kids age 14 - 15 having a relationship with guys that are 18 or above. Gah! Everytime I open one of these threads I expect someone who's a teen and dating someone in their mid life... It's no big deal. Honestly. I've NEVER dated a guy who wasn't at least 6 years older than me. I've always been mature and the like so it doesn't matter.

My boyfriend is 2 years and 3 months older than me...so for about 3 months I was 15 while he was 18. I know this probably isn't what you're talking about exactly but you said 15 year olds dating 18 or above so...I thought I'd comment. He graduated last year and I'll be a junior next year. It's not weird or anything. I'm mature for my age so it works out. The only time it ever bothered me is when we went out with some of his friends and they had to get a stranger to buy my movie ticket because it was R-rated and I couldn't get in. Incidences like that are embarrassing but it didn't happen often. I think it's kinda not a good idea to date more than about 5 years apart, though. And I don't think the age difference should be that great if you're in high-school either. I think that would be unsafe. But it really depends on the person, I guess.
