so the next time someone tries to pressure you in to haveing sex remember these results. Don't let the old, "every one else is doing it." or "how would you know what it's like of you've never tried it." or " but i love you." work on you. be strong and show you have strong will power. or you may end up doing something you will regret.

i just want to say that I think waiting is the right thing to do. Who cares whether it's kewl or not to have sex? it's not about what other people think - it's about what you and the person you are involved with think and feel about each other. Sex isn't something to take lightly - not with STD's, pregnancy, and AIDS still out there. Besides, i'd rather wait to be with the person that i truly love and the person that RESPECTS me rather than have sex with just ANYONE just to be kewl. That's stupid and that's not the point of sex.

Besides..it's your FIRST TIME. It should be special like - the FIRST kiss, the first time i got to drive without mom or dad in the car, and my first date.

You only get one shot to make it special memorable, not regretable.

Hey SoccerChick you have a point and thanx for all your advice. To answer your question, I can't speak on behalf of all other guys, but the reason I don't want to be a virgin is just because I want some companionship. To tell the truth it really wouldn't even have to be sex. Id be content if I could go out on dates occasionally and have a relationship.

I'm one of those people who hasn't had sex or "sexual contact", "sweet sixteen and never been kissed", never had a boyfriend, never been asked out..but I couldn't be happier! I don't see what the big deal is...

RighteousRebel: Ok, your a guy right? Ok lets say that you had sex & you got that girl pregnate or got STD's,HIV/AIDS would you still be happy that you had sex? Just think about the consiquenses about having sex... I had a friend who had sex at 11 & got pregnate & she's not very happy... she's now 13 & has to raise a baby by herself... do you want to be in that situation? Or have a disese for the rest of your life? & how come guys don't want to be a virgin? Please answer my question if you can. It's just weird... I'm still a virgin & proud...

i don't see virginity has lame. that's not what i was instilled in, and i have morals, beliefs, etc. any type of sex is sex- and TEENAGERS make the wrong decisions by having sex, even when they htink there is no STD or teen pregnancy situation to come of their behavior.

I am ashamed of being a virgin, I can't wait to lose it. I don't think its fair that alot of others have experienced it and I haven't.
