Over 440,000 people die every year from smoking related diseases such as lung cancer.

How do you feel about smoking? Do you do it? Do you think its cool or not care about doing it or not? I'm talking about cigarettes. There are tons of posts about marajuana and drugs but I have never seen one about cigarettes. I might be blind...but just in case, I've started one.

Ever since I was little and saw that old commercial of the lady smoking through a hole in her neck I have become EXTREMELY anti-smoking. In San Francisco I hold my breath when I pass someone smoking, when a bus drives by I cover my mouth with something to not inhale the fumes...its sort of just paranoid, but does anyone else feel like this?

hey, so, like we all know that smoking kills, so, why put a thread up all about it. there is absolutely no point what so ever.

This is like that theory . you know where if you walk 10 minutes everyday you increase your life by ...say 10 years . not realisiing you are gonna be walking those 10 years .Even if it does shorten your life ateleast you are doing something you like .
Im not anti-smoking simple reason coz i smoke . But yeah i hate second hand smoking . That if people want to stop its cool . I smoke like once in like 4 months not usually in public place and even if it is a public place its a bar or sumthing so ....................
but yeah smokings dangerous . it kills and it can do a lot worse things than simple death . It can screw up your voice , dries your lips and your throat horribly and you stink .

I think smokeing is wrong and i advise people to stop cause all that at the top is true plus your boyfriend/girlfriend dont want to kiss you if your breath smells like an ashtray. But its your right it you want to smoke or not so dont think Im telling yall what to do.

Well. I dont smoke cigs. Dont plan to, dont like the addictive-ness? of them. But if somebody else wants to, who am i to stop them, especially if they are in the privacy of their own home and arent providing them to people under 15.

I have a BMI 26 too. I'm not fat but for my height I'm 90th percentile for weight which is apparently fat according to my doctor.

I have no comment...

I like the BMI thing... I have 16% body fat... but my BMI is 26 (which is apparently high) I'm not fat by a long shot, I got broad shoulders and plenty of miscle which weighs more than fat go figure.

By the way, how do you people know when you'll die? I mean, I did the spark test, and I'm going to die at 30/31 of heart issues (no surprise, as they run in my family, and I'm very high-strung and anxious).

Wow I'm older than most of you and even smoking I'm living to 2060 which puts me at 74 years old... which is 14 years older than I want to live too
