go to http://www.deathclock.com and enter everything the first time say non-smoking and see what your predicted life will be. Then change it to smoking and view the diffrence.

That was a while back, I had to do my research just to find what you were talking about risk...

Carpetgirl, unless you've actually done the research to prove that smoking kills, shut up. That goes for anyone else. Obviously, I smoke or else I wouldn't be making a deal out of it. But if I die from smoking, at least I'll die knowing that it was a really, really good one. Orgasmic good. I'll die happy.

I have weak lungs so when theres someone smoking next to us, i start to cough real bad.

I dont care if people smoke, but it should harm others by second-hand smoke.

And i can't believe people sue the cigarette Co saying it gave them cancer... WELL YEA.

Did you not read my response on that thread? I didn't look at the dates, and I do not do that search thing you described. I just found that thread when I was on the main message boards page and I looked at it out of an interest in the Wal-Mart debate. I had no idea there would be any mention of PETA in it.

The only humor I find in the article is what the authors are trying to pass off as a actual connection rather than a weak scientific curiosity. Problem is you think it's "funny" but also assume that it's true. Probably 2/3 of the people out there see the phrase "one study has found" and totally buy into whatever speculative nonsense they stick after it.
