~All right Nicole: this is for you. Poncho, I am especially interested in your opinion on this topic as you always have avid pictures and opinionated statements that I find extremely hillarious and they always get the point across pretty easy. Everyone from those Nicoley "Help" topics, please answer this too.

~Nicoley, luv u, I just want a point across. No one at this site wants to see you end up like other anorexic friends we have had/have. (in the hospitol, rehab for a year or months, dead.)

hey this is really mean . . . i am annorexic and currently recovering and it's really difficult.
i don't think i look great infact annorexic girls know they look awful and cover up because they don't know if they're fat or thin any more. i dont look great now i look at my self and think i look hidiously obese yet i know im under six stone, and if i lose any more weight ill be in hospital so yeh ur right annorexia dosn't make you look great, but nay annorexic would do anything to not b the way they are i would do anything to not obsess over food everyday and i wish calorie counting was something i didnt ortomatically do.
pro-ana websites make me cry, how can a girl want to be annorexic and ask to be shown what to do, its an illness i wish i hadn't eva got! but im not embarressed. .. why should i be its just like the flu i wouldn't be embarresed to tell u had that
so before you throw arround accusations on how attractive my illness is making me, live a life in my shoes step into my world of pain and torture. and try feeling not only the physical pain but the mentle pain as well and then tell me how hot my hair look as it falls out.

Thats true. I'm glad you posted some people arent seeing anorexicia for what it really is. Its a sickness people cant help it. and its very sad actuly and picking on the person ...isent going to help its gunna make it worse...

littlemermaid402: you could not be any more right on the subject. There is some preconceived idea about anorexic girls. If you didn't know they come in all shapes and sizes. And anyone who doesn't know anybody anorexic or hasn't been anorexic shouldn't comment on the issue. Instead of saying ewww they are paper thin or if i wanted a skeleton i would rob a grave how about getting informed on the issue.

So true littlemermaid. It's an illness, they dont care if you find them attractive or not they're not looking for your acceptance they're looking for their own, and they cant and wont see things the way they really are because they're ill. Just as people with body dismorphic disorder. |

I dont like anorexic girls. They freak me out. I like thin girls to slightly chubby girls. Fat girls are completely out the window though.
I find both extremes unattractive but obviously id go for an anorexic way before a big fat girl.

The girls who suffer from don't wake up one morning and say "I want to be skinny, let's throw up and be unhappy!" It's not even really about being skinny. People who really suffer from these illnesses feel a lack of control in their lives. I am a recovering bulimic. I know I didn't look pretty when I was 5'1" and weighed 60 lbs. (The normal weight for that hight is approx. 105) But that's not what it's about, I felt like I finally had contol in some part of my life. I haven't purged (thrown up) in almost 3 years. Okay, this has been bugging me for long enough: the question is flawed because it assumes anorexics and really, really skinny people are one and the same. Though anorexics in an advanced state of the disease do tend to be disturbingly thin, anorexics don't "look" like anything. Excuse my being a crybaby, but to those of us who are not anorexic but do "look" anorexic this growing societal implication that all razor-thin people have eating disorders is awful.
So please, let's just pretend this topic reads "Are Extremely Skinny People Hot?" and then let's let it die. Because frankly, I can't handle the truth.

I'm not a guy nor a lesbian and even I know that that's not attractive. There is a huge difference between being fit and in shape as opposed to being annorexic. there are better ways to feel comfortable with your body than anorexia, belemia, or pills. trust me.

Personally, an anorexic girl is.....bleh. People need to understand that being super skinny does not mean a good figure. I'd much rather have a girl that was a little heavier but had a figure and sometimes a little extra weight (just a few pounds) can bring that out to make a person look a WHOLE lot better.

we all see paper thin girls these days. and you can see they're not healthy. there is no need to lose any weight unless your health is at risk by being morbidly obese or so on..
if your eat correctly and maintain excersise then there is no need to lose weight.
just because you dont have a body of a model. does not mean your fat.

I'm kind of in and out of anorexia. I know it sounds stupid, but I think I do it mainly for attention. Since I started Jr. High I became really quiet, and not many people know I even exist. But I'm not underweight, not even close. And I don't think my case is really anorexia, I think it's more a cry for help. But seriously I need to loose weight, I need some thinspiration! So anyone have any adivce on how to loose weight?
I will love the false image I had of you.
