I've been dating this guy for 4 years and he broke up with me but says he still loves me just not the way he used to.he says that he sees himself with me in the futre when he's ready to settle down but he wants to be able to make it on his own before gettin back with me. (like after college)He tells me to just trust him, that he didnt' break up with me to go screw around. He wants me to be his friend but i told him that it would be to hard on me to be his friend and still care for him so much.My question is, Should i try to be his friend? or should i just back off for a while? I'm confused i would like to hear any ideas you guys and girls may have.
