Does anyone else have (an) alcoholic parent(s)? If so, how do you deal with it?

I grew up with an alchoholic stepfather that liked to get roughhouse when he was on benders. The best way to deal with them is to make sure they have nothing to ***** about, get your chores done, go above and beyond to make sure that there is nothing to upset them. This is called "walking on eggshells". Stay away from the house when possible and stay away from that parent when you are home. When you turn 18 move out and get on with your life, you'll be fine.
